As the title states, the book was shipped to the local chapters, apparently a week early, ready for me to pick up today?! Anyone else get theirs? Excited!

I wanted to start a thread so people can dump their ideas on the new book somewhere, just like I want to!

Warning: Depending on posts, there might be spoilers, I do not know :zip::eek:

After reading the first few chapters, I love the way it was written, I really got immersed in the story, and the characters are fabulous!

Opinions? :)

Mine's still in transit somewhere, Amazon claiming "1-2 months" till it gets shipped. Getting your hands on English book really can be annoying here in Germany. =/

Damn you GoA! Im hoping to read this in small packets of chapters, so as to expand the length i can enjoy the book.

as opposed to just reading it all in one day.

I have no idea if they have it :O I pre-ordered it last weeeek. Im suprised that it is so early O.o

Have not gotten that far yet xD Only Killeen so far in the first chapter. I didnt read the 2nd or 3rd online so thats all new to me.

Chapters is the name of the store.  I was confused too, had to look it up.  It appears to be a Canadian chain.

I'm not so sure you should have one (not to be mean in any way :p), I'm suspecting that it is a fail (well... not for you ofc) made by that company. I'm not so sure how this whole thing work, but if anet have said 27 as the date, I think every company should respect that date (don't know what anet can do about it though, sue them seem kinda harsh)

getting it this week would be awesome though, seeing how I have to studdy next week :p

It isn't that uncommon for book chains to have early availability for those that have pre-ordered. They just don't stock the shelves with the title until the official release date ;)

Yeah, this is a typical practice.  As long as the title isn't enormously popular (huge media campaigns and midnight launches, etc) retailers can fudge the availability a little bit.

I remember there was this uge deal over the release date of the Harry potter books way back when.
Stores that didn't hold to the official release date would be fined and would not get a early order of books for the next instalment.
I wonder if A-net will aply that tactic too...

Hmmm, Barnes & Noble online store is claiming "usually ships in 24 hours" for availability, while amazon still says preorder.  Of course, no way of knowing unless I place the order if its really going to ship that fast.
