First, them costumes? look nice.

The hat is the gamescom thing, even though no price is on it, it probably needs a code to buy it.

2000 gems for the digital deluxe upgrade? rip off much? thats more than the difference between standard and digital editions.

$20 for 1600.
aka its more than it should be (the difference between standard and digital)
The price is even more unfair here in the EU.
£17 for 1600, that's already 2 pound more expensive than the difference and you need even more gems!

800 gems = $10 or ~50 silver from lasting beta event.

Wasn't it to be expected that you'd end up paying more if you buy them separately?

No? least wasn't to me.
A lot of people didn't buy the deluxe because they never said what the elite was, why should they have to pay more because they wanted to know what they where actually buying?

a combo pack is always cheaper than buying things seperately, that's just how it is. ;)

Because that's how not buying items in bulk works pretty much everywhere?
You buy a bunch of things at once, you are sometimes given a discount and if you buy them separately you can expect to pay more.

Now, I absolutely do not think that the DE upgrade is worth the 2000 gems, but what we are seeing here is pretty common practice.

EDIT.
It seems that Belgians do it the same way. ;)

It's interesting to see 3 armors named after some sets from guildwars 1

Primevil Armor
Posted Image

Krytan Armor

Posted Image

and Profane Armor

Posted Image

Am dieing to know how they look :)

----
and the hat is probably that 'unique' item and is obtainable by using the 'redeem code' part. That's why there is no price next to it.

Are bag slots no longer a part of the store? It doesn't look like they're available through the upgrades page.

Once again, how was this not expected? I mean, that's the point of a cash shop, no?
Not only that, but GW1 CS functioned the EXACT same way.

Do you think each set has a light/medium/heavy variant or do you think its primevil=heavy / krytan=medium / profane=light ?

They may be reworking bag slots.  Even w/ free gems, ppl weren't buying that many of them.  If they were account wide, it would be usable, but character only, you could lose a lot of gems just by deleting a character.

could also be town clothes since they are listed under decorative/fashion.

There was a difference between costumes, social and actual armor. Was the point I was trying to make. Now it seems it won't just be costumes in the store or social items but armor aswell....

Something they have not done before as far as I know. im guessing they will be purely cosmetic or social but look like armor? I doubt they have stats.

Thanks for this information, I'm kind of bummed about the digital deluxe though. I've been wanting to upgrade my standard version for a while now, but they just added another 5 euro to it. It's bad enough that europeans get ripped off in the gemstore compared to Americans.

Edit; Those costumes (krytan, primeval etc) cost 500 gems each. Confirmed by the store.
