You will need to be easy going to survive in Enigma. And you’ll need a sense of humour, balanced with a mature attitude. Although our members come from all over Europe everyone must be English speakers and guild chat must be in English at all times as we don't want anyone excluded at any time.
We have a maturity rule, whilst physical age means very little on the internet, act like a spoilt kid, and you’re not going to fit in with us…so also no Racism, Sexism or any other isms! Furthermore we expect guild members to co-operate and support one another.
The behaviour of guild members with other guild members and alliance is paramount but of equal importance is the larger community of the server and the Guild Wars 2 game in general. Members of Enigma will be expected to represent our guild in the best possible light. We want people to look on us as examples as to how to play MMO's so the way we interact with everyone in the meta community including other guild forums, fan sites and official sites is very important. We want people to take note of our actions and say "hey she's in Enigma they are a really cool guild etc"
We do not put up with dude speak. It annoys the hell out of everyone. If you speak in numbers, please don’t even apply. That’s not to say we’re stuck up about it, everyone uses the odd "lol” or whatever. But in general, we talk to each other properly. With real words and everything. If this is something that frightens you, Emigma will not be the place for you.
No style of play is enforced, whether you want to PvE, WvW, PvP or Role Play you are welcome and we will not put up with people mocking those who have differing styles.
We will work out some kind of strategy for spending guild influence prior to game release as we have now played some of the content and are aware of these things.
We want to be very proud of the guild, and we intend that it will become a leading gaming community. That doesn’t mean we’re stuck up, or elitist - far from it. We will accept new members very willingly. But not based solely on their level, or their skill. We accept decent players, who want to have fun, and will bring something more to the guild. If you’re that sort of person, then we’d love to have you.
