Well, Halloween is fast approaching and many stores have already put out their Halloween Decor. So its safe to say that I can start talking about the Lore behind what Mad King's Day could be like in Guild Wars 2. As of right now we know that his Lunatic court is trying to break his bonds to the Underworld so he can roam the world as an Undead rather than being forced to return back to the Underworld after his power wanes after Halloween. So what do you think that Mad King has in store for Guild Wars 2? Was there any references to him during the Beta Weekends? And how do you think each race would react to Halloween's Festivities, since Halloween seemed to be a Human's holiday?

Here is a early treat:

Other than "Mad King's Day" there was no mention of him thus far in GW2 as far as I saw or know of.

However, in an interview it was said that there is already some Voice Over for Thorn for some future content.

Agreed they said that they have heard a recording of his voice and like it. But they said more about "Wintersday 2012" is very likely.
