Guild Wars 2 phone number? Please read

Does Guild Wars 2 customer support or anything have a phone number that i can call? I pre purchased the game at gamestop last week and the serial code i got said it was already used :/ . I already asked a question on their website but still havent gotten a responce :((

I think you have to contact gamestop, not Anet. I could be wrong however.

Unfortunately you need to go through the company you purchased it from.

Was so tempted though to put down 867-5309 but maybe the humor would be lost.

There isn't a phone number, AFAIK. Also, they don't work on weekends, so depending on when you sent in a ticket and how busy they are it might take them a little while to respond. And they will probably tell you to go talk to Gamestop, since retailers are the one responsible for these keys.

This has been happening a lot with codes from GS, though. Go ask them for a new code or better yet a refund and purchase the game from somewhere else.

I don't know when you sent a support ticket but you have to realize that it's the weekend and customer support at the moment probably doesn't work on the weekends.

I would suggest waiting till up to tuesday (mondays are hell for customer support because they have to go through 2.5 days worth of tickets)

But they will probably say that you will have to handle it with gamestop since they gave you the wrong serial code.

Customer support does work on the weekend i sent a ticket on Friday and got a response on sat and sunday

Ok. I haven't seen many companies that do this, especially before launch.

phone lines will most likely open upon release. If you post your ticket number on the anet twitter feed enough someone might talk to you.
