I've got some question for those who got to use the new Focus chain skill "Into the Void":

Is it AOE, or does it only work on your current target?

Does it have a range of 900 (useful) or less (questionable for CD)?

Does it pull them INTO the temporal curtain (crippling them), or does the temporal curtain disappear before the void happens?

How long do you have before "Into the Void" expires?


I'm not sure if it was working in the last test, but I didn't get to test it since I didn't know it existed. Cheers

It is AoE and an instant effect.  I'm not sure about the others, but think its range is closer to 600 and the curtain disappears when you use it.

Unless they nerfed it when they turned it into a chain skill, I'm quite sure its range is quite a bit larger than that.

Is there a video somewhere where this is used? In it's old or current form?

The range was quite big--at the very least Chaos Storm or bigger. Something to note: Into The Void no longer pulls targets to you; targets are pulled in a straight line through the wall.

I'm not following.
Does it not work like the underwater aoe pull ability, but instead centered on the veil placement rather than yourself?

Draw a straight line from the players current location to the center of the wall, then continue this line out the other side.

Yes that is how it works. Imagine the curtain as a mirror. When you use "Into the Void" everyone around the curtain is pulled in dimetrically opposite directions. Very powerful ability in W3.
