I hope they will optimise the game by the official launch.
I am running GW2 at around 14-35 fps and Heaven benchmark give me average of 80+ fps.

i find it hard to see that FPS on the 6900 series and the CPU.
Did you get the latest drivers(IMO beta 12.7 is best, or you can try 12.8 or 12.6)

My apples taste better than those oranges. Everybody knows that Heaven is extremely demanding on the CPU! Wait...

P.S. GW2 runs better than heaven does on my gtx670. I recommend running 'heaven', not a low setting version of it
