Overall, we expect our content to be the driving force behind how long it takes to do things in-game.

That's good to hear.

Two characters journeying through the game will have two different experiences, which means the game will remain fresh for all you out there who enjoy making a million characters.

So level 80 is the cap, not to bad....I hope that its not to bad to level, which from what they seams it won't be. If its Anet could lose a lot of people.

k, so to summarize, lvl80 cap and the same xp for each level...

i'm assuming the graph is a little off and it doesn't take the same amount of xp to level in gw2 as it does to get lvl1 in most games...

So Awesome! I am so stoked that leveling is NOT the reason to play this game! There are so many other games out there that already do that. What a cold drink of water this game is going to be in the desert of grindfest MMO's.

When I saw the title I was expecting a lot more than just the level cap, but thats okay. Nice-ish info!

So it also takes a couple of hours to go from lvl 1 to lvl 2! I don't think any other MMO has that :p

Instead of taking longer and longer to reach each level, it takes about the same time to go through each level. It’s pretty simple; if we expect you to level up every few hours, then why shouldn’t it be that way all through the game?

Bringing to this it sound easy to reach to lvl 80 in 2 months :D. Knowing that gw is realy not a thing of leveling, but the rest of the thing is thats what makes me happy .

Sweet 80 lvl's, I hope each level is gonna take a good while, I don't wanna feel like I'm blasting through the levels. What I mean to say Is I hope they find the 'sweet spot'. If not there's always patches.

Is this just a example or is the "every few hours" correct? If it's correct it takes arround 160 hours to reach max level, wich is very nice!

this sounds like my cup of tea. I'm totally the type to make multiple characters to experience the game in everyway possilbe and the last thing I need is to grind to cap level on all of them. I'm more of a casual player and if anet has plans to load us with content than I can see myself playing this game for plenty of years.

Arena Net is starting to release updates on Thursday....*takes mental note*:p

How come Arena Net doesn't release these updates on their site instead of the blog?

Hard to know and thats that this days iam having problems to enter in the main site. I enter in other sites with no problems and fast, but the main site it kind of get stuck for me and i can't come to think what might be going wrong. I have even instaled adoby flach player againe and even cleaned out the history of the pages and dosen't help.
I feal a mystery there that they might be working on something big :).

Well it's a pretty small update. It wouldn't look like much of an article on the website.

It is however, very substantial information. Same amount of experience for all levels? I am all up on that! :)

Taking the same amount of time to get from level 1 to level 2 and from level 79 to level 80 is a very cool twist. I love it.

One has to remember that the leveling curve in modern MMO's still use a template kind of like AD&D. Increased EXP for increased levels. That template has not changed for decades and GW2's new look at it is WONDERFUL.... unless there is a game out there that IDK about that does the same thing?

My biggest question, is how much Xp from level 1 to 2.....I also have other questions.....Though this would be something Anet would have to Answer and its not part of this.
