Ha thanks.  It was fun writing some silliness.  Actually, Stephane gave me the idea when he re-tweeted something the Old Spice guy said on Twitter... kinda linked up the two ideas of Guild Wars and manlines... I mean Old Spice. ;)

Bump:

I look forward to the day when "smellovision" (err... smellaweb? scentogame?) becomes real...

Fresh alpine air, irises, soft wafts of smoke riding the breeze... and Old Spice.

Epically awesome.

You know, one of the things that always makes me happy when I read forum threads, blog posts and comments related to Guild Wars 2 on non-GW sites is how often people are instinctively comparing it to games like Baldur's Gate, Grand Theft Auto, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc. rather than the usual mess of MMO comparisons. Yes, it does get those as well, but they're sparser than you see for most upcoming MMO's. The fact that the information that's been released on GW2 causes people to think of some of the best RPG/Action adventure games of the past few decades is just a nice change for this genre. People are talking about it like it's not just an MMO, but a (*gasp!*) RPG.

Edit: I just realized that 3/4 of the games I listed are by BioWare. That wasn't intentional. :p
