I'm so in love with my Mesmer I'm considering "main-ing" her. Need to find gloves/boots skin, COF looks way too out of place.

Hoping to get Human T3 gloves & shoulders when I feel more comfortable spending that much money. I've thought about Acolyte Shoes, but I'm close to replacing my Masquerade Skirt with Inquest from COE, which make the Acolyte Shoes look a tad odd.

After playing the TP for a bit, I got a look for my mesmer alt:



Not sure about the colors, though, but I tried to find something, that matches the swords, without favoring either blue or red too much. Also it had to fit the skin and hair color as well as the mesmer theme ^^

Sylvari cultural is pretty hard to dye, at the moment I'm using Ocean, Midday and Lava with some Sea Green on the legs and Indigo on the foot. Since it's my alt I'm pretty limited in dyes, unfortunately (why can't dyes be unlocked account-wide )

Also, why do sylvari tend to have their eyes closed on most screenshots?

Anemone Gz for legendary. Can you post picture/video how it looks on action? I have only seen Twilight and it was great with pink/purple beam.

Btw, how did we came from this original GW mesmer to what mesmers seem to be on GW2?


Some sword swinging pictures. I have 2x Honor of Humanity, I like short and normal looking swords so I will use these until I get fractal swords (which is most likely never)

Though I really want a Crucibal coat, I do like these looks (the pieces are fairly interchangeable).
Whispers and "God" armor (Lyssa, Dwayna) and of course Masquerade.  Mostly beserker/rampager though that has nothing to do with how they look.

You need to upload your pictures to hosting site (http://imgur.com/, http://tinypic.com/, https://www.dropbox.com, etc) and then you can use your picture's url (that you get from hosting site) with code below to link picture on forum:

I use imgur. It is easy to use, you can just drag and drop images there and it also gives you direct link to thumbnail pictures (aka picture to smaller picture that anyone can click to see bigger one). This forum has thumbnail system built inside, but most of the forums do not support it and if you try to link full sized picture it will not fit on screen (and people will whine when you broke the forum). In that case you need to crate smaller copy of your picture that fits to forum and acts as link for full sized picture. If you ever need code for that kind of linking it is:

[URL=www.your_full_sized_picture_address.jpg][IMG]www.your_thumbnail_pic_address.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

As said, imgur gives those codes automatically.

Although I use Arah shoulders and karma shoes (I love those ballerinas)

Thank you, that is exactly what I was going for. I wanted a mesmer who looked over 30, but still with plenty of spark in her.

Really liking the colour scheme of you mesmer, especially in combination with the staff. Very regal looking. I think I'll go hit up the trading post and buy some deep red dyes myself.

I feel that some of the new Mesmers have no connection with the old.  The lore of the Mesmer is fascinating with it's ties to Lyssa and the Bloodstone of Denial.  Mesmers were often actresses or performers (Althea's Stage in gw1).  The very word mesmer refers to the late psychiatrist Franz Mesmer, which links it to mind control.  Mesmer = enchantress = seductress.  
Lyssa the patron goddess of the human mesmer class was said to be so beautiful that men would be caught in her gaze and stare at her long enough to starve to death.  My Mesmer represents the enchantress class and all it's attitude, enjoy!  If you like my understanding of the Mesmer then contact me in game under the name of my Mesmer.  I lead the guild The Order Of Chaos, which represents the ability of the class to manipulate and cause chaos in battle.  See you in game!

Not sure about the gloves but the chest is the Whisper order chest.
The arms covered are part of the chest btw so the glove might be just any small glove.
