the right clicking on random npcs on the screen is annoying but i understand it cant be helped ^_^

Fixed.  The camera rotation only uses one right click to manipulate the camera now.

I'm having an issue with the program. I play on a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and I followed all the steps to a tea for getting my cursor placement correct. The test function put it exactly where I wanted it in my screen. However, when I start the program, my cursor begins somewhere in the upper right of my screen and resets there every time I stop holding left trigger. Any way to fix this?

I had this same problem for a while.  Rebooting Pinnacle didn't fix it then all of a sudden, one day, it did.  Weird.  Anyway, I updated the profile a couple days ago and it eliminates any fiddly bits when it comes to repositioning the cursor on the screen.  That bit isn't relative any more due to some changes I made to the profile.  Visit the link in the OP and download the new profile.

Honestly, the way that this game plays, it feels like it should be on a console with a controller.

Exactly what I've been saying all along! :)

...i feel like there arent enough buttons on a gamepad!

There are plenty, it's just a matter of intelligently mapping them.  Which I did. ^_^

It's a matter of comfort.  To me, reclining comfortably at my desk is preferable to being hunched over my keyboard and mouse.

If you're hunched over your mouse and keyboard, you're doing it wrong.

Remember when there was a huge buzz about GW2 being put on console?
Where is your god now?

I wouldn't count against it just yet.  My PC can handle any cross platform game with relative ease, but GW2 causes some chug, which on modern consoles would cause chug to the nth degree.  Add to that playing with a controller feels totally natural and you just might see it on Durango or PS4.

i have an xbox controller and id be interested in how this would work out.  right now, i still double tap to dodge

I know, do not comment

the reason being, my tab; L shift; Lctrl; z; x; c; f are all mapped to skills/utilities because i have small hands and i'd rather hit 'e' instead of '1'

so im pretty much out of options when it comes to the pressing a button and direction to dodge option.  the xbox controller seems like it would accommodate this effectively.

We'd see it on VALVes Big Picture (the client for Steamboxes) before anything. That is if ANet decides to allow GW2 on Steam.

Visit the thread in the OP and follow the directions.  What you'll want to do is reset to the default keybindings because the profile I created is set up to use the default keybindings.  You will also want to bind "look behind" to the "U" key and disable double tap to dodge.

I think you'll find playing GW2 with a controller to be preferable if you have trouble doing keyboard gymnastics with your "small hands". :D

Maybe not.  I don't think Anet needs Steam to distribute their game digitally, they handle that pretty well on their own.  Going next gen console with it would make sense in that the new boxes are going to come packed with a lot more RAM and horsepower in general.

I cant imagine controlling a staff ele properly with this scheme. I can see gow it works with an axe/gs warr but it would be a nightmare for an ele.

It used to be more cumbersome, but ArenaNet gave us the "quick cast with target" option which is the best of both worlds, you get to see where the spell is being cast and it only takes one button press to do it.
