Right, so I'm really tempted to get GW2 since one of my friends got it and everyone is saying such good things about the game. My question is, if I pick a diffrent race wouldn't that affect how we can play together? I know that after I complete the first tutorial quests and so on we can meet up at the RACIAL capital, but me beeing a diffrent race would effect the quests, wouldn't it? And by the time I actually get to the capital wouldn't whoever I'm playing with be 20 levels over me. I'm really confused and frustrated. Another question, my friend told me that when he actually goes out to PVP, his armor doesn't "matter" and that he can take down a max level guy by himself, yet when I go over to see him playing the game I constantly see him getting ganked by everyone, meaning that everyone with better armor DESTROYS you, doesn't he? Would love some questions without straight up copypastas, thanks alot.
