I transferred to a new world where my friend is on. My primary character was in a guild and after I transferred to a new world, he remained in the guild. I accidentally left the guild and was wondering if there was a way to re-join the guild?  If so how?

I do not believe you can be part of a guild from another server. If you are on the same server you need to ask an officer or the guild leader for another invite.
