I agree with all the list except:
Inspecting - In a perfect world, this feature would bring some usefulness as the OP said.
In reality, if implemented it becomes a tool for people to force others to slot what the current wiki gimmicks say if they want to join team.
Also, those times I make a strong build no one yet discovered I might want to keep it for myself.
My hero screen is mine only unless I purposely decide to show it.
Lesser scale combat - This one I can agree, because sometimes fighting one smart mob is more engaging, but at the same time I LOVE huge armies clashing and dying and shouting and... battles, war.
But one form should not remove the other. We either get both or stay with the current situation (for the record, we have champ mobs for tough 1v1 fights).
Transmutation - It would make little sense to keep both the items after a transmutation, and also make the game easier for no particular reason.
Mounts - As cool as they are, they are proved to empty worlds.
Most people will never dismount to res others or help them with a DE or a boss.
GCD - Just no, I would quit.
One of the strong points of the current system is that you actually have to know your cast times and there are many possible combinations of them.
GCD puts everything on the same level and removes a lot of depth, and last but not least, it's much easier to balance without GCD because they can increase or decrease casting times to balance skills.
Then again this will never happen so it's a non-issue.
On top of the current list in the OP I would like to see:
More weapons - 2H Axes (Warrior), 1H Spears (Guardian), Crossbows (Rangers), Chakrams (Mesmers), Katars (Thieves), and others.
Anet said they'll come with expansions but I really can't wait, it's so good to have more choice.
Ability to move UI pieces where you want like in GW1 - It was one of my fav features to be able to decide where do I put UI things.
Albeit the current UI is great, I'd like to move stuff to other places for instance boons/debuffs.
Ability to move weapon skill around on the skillbar - Some weapons have their most used skill on number 5 which is the farest from your hand.
Other times you get semi-useless skills on your button 2.
We should definitely be able to move them.
A better jumping system - Because the terrible MMO jumping and collisions together can lead to very frustrating results.
I'm not asking for Assassin's Creed jumping depth, but something better than this can definitely be done.
