of Devastation bugged?

The one Southwest of the Cathedral of Glorious Victory.

The thing is green and I have tried a few things but it wont turn green or hostile. No way to interact with it ether.

With so many bugs in the game I dont know if it is or it isnt. Just looking for confirmation. I didnt see anything lying around that might trigger it, above or below so not sure.

Seems still to be bugged for me or am I doing it wrong? Can someone give me some hints maybe?

It was bugged on my server (ehmry bay) so i transfered to another, did the skill challanged and transfered back. Took maybe 5 minutes total. Give it a shot.

Still bugged the npc doesn't have the option to talk to me. Someone told me it should work after the server restarts

In my server (Baruch Bay) is still bugged like the event chain which leads to Balthazar Temple or like the event chain which leads to Arah... as well as some personal story quests (http://www.guildwars...0/#entry1863912).

I dont't know what the hell happened to the high level content but it seems very very broken

Edit: Transferred to a different server, wasn't bugged, did it, transferred back.

How are transfers working right now.  Can you explain?  I have friends on other servers that I would like to join.

high level content not having the same polish as low level content in a mmo?!? that's unheard of

Same... tried switching to a few servers and it was bugged on all of them. Is there maybe a specific server where it DOES work?

A guardian can fix it by using an ability on the spectral that creates a wall which enemies can't cross.

Sorry that I can't explain it any better, but I really have no clue about guardians and I just saw this guy do it which caused the spectral to move a little and then I was able to talk to it.

I can confirm that this works. Took a few tries though, what worked for us was placing the wall so that the spectral moved north from his stuck position.

Edit: To clarify, its the Guardian staff #5 spell "Line of Warding"

We tried this and eventually managed to get it to work although the consensus on the group was that it was a Necro field that triggered it. Maybe it was coincidence, though, as the Guardian had been spamming the wall for about 5 minutes and kept doing so.

Yup, the Line of Warding trick works. I'm a Guardian and just tried it out. Just keep spamming the skill on top of the guy and eventually he moves. Took me like 5 tries or so.

Also confirmed. Line of warding moved him and begun the challenge.

Yup Guardians with a staff can fix those broken 'weapon' skill points.

I managed to unbug the Balth chain once by ressing one of the seven escort npc's with glyph of renewal... was saying they were all alive, when one was clearly dead but had no revive symbol - that seems to reset that part of the chain, and kick it back into action.
