One thing I noticed when the Black Lion Trading Post was up for a brief period yesterday was that there appears to be no 'preview' option for the items listed there.

In a game that is all about cosmetic skins, I find this to be a feature that should be implemented. Especially considering that outside of the Trading Post, you can preview practically everything.

If I were to spend several gold coins on a rare dye or exotic weapon, I'd like to preview it first.

This is an excellent idea, and it's silly how this has not been put in the game already.  Makes a stupid amount of sense.

Maybe its because you can purchase / sell things that you cannot wear.  You can preview things from the gem store.

Excellent idea, and like the poster before me said its really odd it isnt in alread, feels like it should be.

absolutely.  kind of hard to justify spending the majority of your money on items if you don't know what it will look like until you buy it

Yeah, I was amazed that something like the 'preview' that is being used everywhere in the game already is currently not possible to do with the items in the Trading Post. Of all the places where it would be the most beneficial it's not implemented.

And I'm not one for buying something expensive without having seen it first. It would be like someone going to a shopping mall and buying expensive lipstick or a pair of jeans without knowing how it will look on you.

100% agreed.

It is ridiculous that preview isn't already implimented for the TP.

how was this not added at the start? again i wont pay for something and then its a skin i dont like. someone argued about buying stuff you cant use, you can already do that at merchants and still preview it. i prever bows and light armor on my guardian all the time and there is no issue.
