I looked around a little bit, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I was looking at character creation and what all the characters looked like in their starting gear. I saw the human engineer and was blown away. I want that!!

Does anyone know if its possible to craft gear that looks like that through the forge or if that is more like a dungeon set? Or even if its in the game.

It's probably rare, high level equipment. The gear doesn't start to look good until much higher levels.

I've made my own gear and for the most part what drops and what we can make appears somewhat similar. I've not done a lot of comparison, but for now nothing really stands out (I'm only level 26 though). I did get a really cool pistol drop last night that certainly looks different than any of the pistols I've made or seen drop.

i think the gear is the gear you can buy for karma at 5 temples in orr, provided you can free from the risen infestation. especially the temple of grenth is a lot of work.

here is our first try with a 9 person guild group at capturing the grenth temple in the 80 orr zone (it's the lasts temple) try is from wednesday i think. Voice is german, because we're a german guild.

90% of armors shown for different races/classes in character select is either dungeon or cultural armor. The rest is probably crafted.

I have the characater creation screen for the human engineer set.

Got it from doing tourny games on the PvP side tho.
