Hi everyone,

I'm playing a guardian, and every time I perform my 'symbol of wrath' ability, a strange graphical glitch pops up. It looks like a placeholder for missing particle effects or something. It happens on a few other abilities, too, but I don't take the time to remember which ones. Anyone know what may be causing this to happen? The glitch has always happened since I've been playing the game.

I'm running an ATI 6950 with the latest driver

I'm laughing because I noticed this a while back and at first assumed it was just some weird graphic. Then I recalled seeing the same thing a long time ago with some other game and in that case it was a missing effect. I'm on a GTX 670 and have this same problem. It's always been like this though, from open beta until now. Did you use an  updated open beta client as well for game launch?

I've also done a file repair and the launcher doesn't detect any missing or corrupt files.

Yeah. I just used the updated beta client when the game was released.

Maybe I'll re-install with the release client. I'll let everyone know if it works.

are you talking about the ring effect? because that's intentional.

I've reinstalled the game and it didn't solve the problem. I've also asked the official guild wars 2 support forum and did not receive a response. This is such a minor thing, but it's super annoying because it appears everywhere!!!
