Hi all,

Anyone have ANY info on the wordwide release of GW2? I mean retail sells around the world outside US and EU. I wanted to grab a physical copy as well but without all the import fuss. Its so common to see global releases nowdays, I wonder why Anet opted for such a restricted launch, well, server stuff I guess.

It would also help to know the global launch for gw1, I know it came April 28th of 2005 on the US, I wonder If I could compare it to gw2 to get an estimative.

I think it should have been last Tuesday which was 28th August 2012.

nope, thats just for US and EU.

You CAN play from anywhere if you get the digital edition from the site, its the same as if I bought the game on the US and brought it to another contry to play. but still, thats not global release
