Which one do you think look cooler, I can't decided. My decision is base on tier 1 cultural armor and both look equally awesome but i'm leaning toward the Charr more. However Charr is the only race that lag a bit for me, and I dislike it starting area.

Honestly, IMHO the Charr look like nothing more than giant hamsters, so I'd go Norn....

You'll get out of starting areas quickly, and in the long run you'll hardly be in the starting area. So I say go charr.

And Norn look like nothing more than giant humans, so I'd go Charr.
Seriously, though... In this game you have the option of playing so many different races that deviate from the standard humans. Humans.. So boring, try something new like Charr, Asura, or Sylvari.

Riiight...
Anyway, if I absolutely had to choose between Char and Norn, I'd probably choose Norn, but that's just me.

It's true. Humans or human-like races are like in every single MMO out there.
I rolled Norn since my friend really wanted Norn and we wanted to play together from the start. I was indifferent because I'll eventually have every single race anyway.

I tried a male norn during the beta & I have to say that is a combo I will not try again.
He looked like a giant lumbering retard due to the fact that many of the guardian abilities are not very graceful looking.
I also tried a char guardian & it looked quite a bit better, the only real downside was that due to the way they hunch over you could not fire any orb attacks up an incline. Assuming that problem was fixed I would say go char.

Charr. Because you can call it a charrdian.
But honestly, charr look awesome and have the best racial abilities.

Norn = Connan. Charr = giant cats.
Connan scares more than cats. So I'd say go Norn.

Its all perference however char model are kinda weird in-out combat where you stand or with 2 legs or 4 legs sometimes.
Its fine if you are used to it but my char just bugs the hell out of me when I tried to jumpping puzzle. On the other hand my human thf seem much easier.

Asura > all
but between norn and char... unless your making a really big norn (your already huge might as well max it), I'd go char
Another route would be to look at screenshots of armor on both a norn and a char. Then go with the one you like the look of more.
