Does anyone know where you can get the recipe for Major and Superior Rune of Divinity? or what materials you need to craft the recipes? Or do you have to buy them from a npc?

but gear labeled " of divinty" from the AH, salvage it using the black lion salvage kit, bam, got you rune(cheaper than what they go for on the AH, and with 3 bonus ecto.

Complete retardation drives the price, or rather the opposite. With so many things being sold for 1 bronze over the NPC scrap selling price there will be a lot of skewed differences in components/components on unwanted armor.

Every now and then you may stumble on a market that does try to bring value to an item, then this occurs.

Opposing the view that "complete retardation" is what increases the price, in reality it is a simple demand/supply ratio. Divinity rune is very balanced and good for any class, so many people want it. Not only that, but they need 6 of them for the full set. Demand is what drives the price up.

Bumping in the hope somebody has a clearer answer. Is there a recipe? Need one get gear w/ the rune and salvage it? If so, how does one get that gear?

There is no recipe for this among a few of the other expensive ones. You have to get the gear and salvage it, or buy on the trading post. Use magic find (and luck) or your gold to get the gear.

Hey ! I was just wondering which monsters drop weapons with any quality of rune of divinity in them.. I have never come across any mob which has dropped a weapon which had divinity rune .. minor major or exotic .. I was lucky to get a good guide on armors and figured out that my main toon will need 6 of those, I got off sinking just 4 gold for those back then.. good old days of AH .. but now, if I can find the mobs which have high likeliness of dropping those weapons which have divinity runes, looks like its going to be good money, plus kind of boring farming orr again n again now ! gotta take a break from seared undead lands !

Also, if anyone knows recipe of any quality divinity rune, that would be most welcome too, but primarily I am looking for mobs which drop weapons having any quality divinity runes, but of course, locations having better drop rate for rare and exotics of divinity is main intention of quesion.

I get 3 superior from map(70-80lvl) reward (mostly exotic acolyte items) So far I did 10 such maps, it's not that bad.

Almost every expensive rune can't be crafted and every location (high lvl) have same chances for drop such items, nearly 0.000001% chance. So map rewards are best way, I guess.

Divinity is being picked mostly because it is the strongest in absolute terms (most statpoints) and the wide stat spread makes it very future-proof if you decide to change up your build.

If you however focus on a role, such as glass-cannon DPS or support, there are better choices out there.

You can always accumulate as many undesirable runes as you like and throw them into the Mystic Forge four at a time. The MF will give back a random rune of the same level or one higher, and it might be a Divinity rune if you're lucky.

I used to get quite a few in the MF on a daily basis. My primary means of making money for a while was just buying rares armor runes off the AH in volume then throwing everything in the MF. I've probably made thousands of exotic runes doing this and while exotic level divinity runes were rare I'd still get quite a few on a daily basis. You can't really make money doing this any more because some retard posted a youtube video on it and the rare rune market is over saturated with morons who drove prices past profitability but you might break even or take a low loss doing this long term to craft your exotic divinity runes.

On a side note despite what you may think, combining like runes will not really increase your chances of obtaining a higher quality rune of the same type.

i.e. 4 divinities will not really give you a higher chance for an exotic divinity. Trust me, I have done thousands, (probably a lot more than 10,000) rune forgings...
