Hi all,

I have a few questions I haven't found the answer to on the GW2 Wiki so I'd give it a try here:

1. Where can I get Basic Transmutation Stones? I got a few as random rewards for completing an area but I haven't seen other places or ways to get them?

2. How do I apply upgrade gems to my gear? It says "double click to apply" - but it doesn't seem to work (even if it has an unused upgrade slot);

3. How do I get screenshots without GUI? I read it's Shift+Print Screen - but it doesn't seem to work?

4. Where's the entrance to Vigil Keep (NE of Gendarran Fields)?

5. Can you dye stuff in your inventory or can you only dye gear that you're currently wearing? Does dying stuff make it soulbound?

Hey
1: You can buy them in the gem store and you get them from map completion. But the ones you get from the map completion cant be used for lvl 80 gear.
2: When you go to the hero panel you see on the left all items you can wear and also upgrades like gems. Double click them and then click on the piece of gear you want it on.
3: No idea sorry.
4: On the east side of the map you can enter Vigil Keep. Its next to a Skillpoint challange. http://www.guildhead...endarran-fields
5: You can only dye armors you wear. And correct me if I am wrong but all the armor you wear is soulband.

1: From the gem shop.
2: You need to drag the gem, rune, sigil, to the weapon/armor. (Now I'm not sure if it was dragging or double click and apply. o_o Try both xD)
3: ctrl, shilf h if I remember it right. xD If not see in the options in the keybinds to hide the UI.
4: I'm from the order of whispers.
5: You can only dye what you are wearing. Most gear is soulbound on use anyway. But no.

- Transformation stones can be purchased on the gem store and are rewards from the Black Lion chests.

2. How do I apply upgrade gems to my gear? It says "double click to apply" - but it doesn't seem to work (even if it has an unused upgrade slot);

- Double click the gem then click on the piece of gear you wish to apply them to.

3. How do I get screenshots without GUI? I read it's Shift+Print Screen - but it doesn't seem to work?

- CTRL + SHIFT + H

4. Where's the entrance to Vigil Keep (NE of Gendarran Fields)?

- Can't remember this without looking and i'm currently at work sorry.

5. Can you dye stuff in your inventory or can you only dye gear that you're currently wearing? Does dying stuff make it soulbound.

- You can only dye items that you have equipped and the item will be soulbound because you have it equipped.

Wow thanks for the quick answers!

ad 1) But I read on the wiki "High-level transmutation stones will be available for purchase through the Gem Store, while lower-level stones will be available through other in-game methods."
So I thought the lower (level 1-79 gear) versions would be acquirable in other ways than the gem store. I only got them once for map completion so they're very scarce. That's a pity!

ad 5) That's too bad, although low level white and blue gear aren't soulbound. I play 2 main characters and I still haven't decided which one gets what dyes, I have like 12 now.

When I come home tonight I'll try to find the entrance to the keep (thanks The Law) and add some upgrade gems.
