Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I noticed that it takes me a while to kill mobs without the bleeding condition. Is that how it supposed to be? I thought that since this is a crit build, condition won't be a necessity.
Thanks in advance.

I've been using this build for 2 weeks now and have to admit it works great
However, i am still not sure what gear to use.
Have been using berserkers but i wonder if i should switch to rampagers.
Is the +prec worth sacrificing the +crit dmg?

I think it depends on what you are doing..for farming/solo and stuff, I'd go for a condition build but if you are doing a lot of group events & dungeons a +crit build is more viable IMO. As you don't always get the best (flanking/rear) shots, so you have to rely on pure and raw damage. Have the same problem on my engi as well
[if getting the yellow gear is an option, just give it a try .. the stat difference isn't that great compared to exotic but'd give you a clue]
And, if am not wrong, you don't lose that much precision to 'feel' the difference. can be compensated by food/oil/sigils...

Berserkers (more +power, +prec, +crit dmg) or rampagers (+power, more +prec, +cond dmg)?
Since i think there isnt an armour with more +prec than power and +crit dmg.
Or is there another option?
Dont want to spend money for the wrong exotic gear now^^

Personally, I'd go berserk...after kiting the shit out of any mob I was really bored if the easier solution is just to crit them to death. Specially the Risen stuff...condition build works for most of the caster but not for any speed-hacking mob.
Higher crits = less annoying stuns/dots/*insert condition of your choice* and I found that most Risen (even caster) just ignore your positional casting as they turn in a blink of an eye.
And even if your high-stacked bleeding gives you quit some numbers...it will be compensated be just 1-2 crits if going berserk.

The only way that perk could possibly be any worse is if it either did literally nothing at all, or if it actually made you weaker.

Maybe that's why I don't kill mobs so easy as I did before?!

I'm also doubting how worth it might stacking is. I observe 2-8 stacks regularly on my pet. I'm not counting with my horn buff, if I use the Stalker's F2, the auto attacks from my sword, or Rampage as one. Since they changed might, this means I'm getting 2-8% more damage from my pet for 1 second. By the time I get to the next mob the stacks are gone.
That seems very.. underwhelming.
Companion's Might is pretty much the cornerstone of the build and I think Carnivorous Appetite, Agility Training and Pet's Prowess make a better combination.
Am I wrong?
I guess for most of PVE you don't really need Agility training and you could sub that out for Companion's Might.. I just feel with might in its current state, it's a waste of a trait slot. Maybe 25 skirmishing would be better.

And just a quick question. Berserker gear is best for this build?

For dungeons, use SB/Axe&Horn. I won't be posting much in this thread any more due to IRL things, but keep up the great discussion!
Thanks

What order would you level the traits for leveling?

Mystic Crescent
+128 Power
+179 Precision (+9% crit)
+128 Condition Damage
Berserker's Pearl Needler
+179 Power
+128 Precision (+6% crit)
9% Crit Damage
Has anyone done any calculations on these to see which one might be better? I can't seem to find anything.

I started a new ranger a few weeks ago, and she leveled all the way to 80 using this build.
I had a blast doing so. Asha is quite the swordwench, and the cats worked perfectly.
This past week I have been in Orr. 50/50 of doing solo adventure/exploring and Karma zerging.
The build has served me well I feel till now. I am a bit squishier than I would like. Playing around
with some trait changes to see if that helps,
What are some tweaks have you fellow Rangers made to adapt this build to running around
Cursed Shores or Dungeons? Or have you kept the build and adjusted Runes/Sigils/Jewelry?
Thanks for advice and sharing!

I don't think precision/crit chance is much use after the 55% crit chance you get without runes. Thats why I chose power over precision. If I would do 3x + 3x, you would get +50Power and +50Precision and only +6 Critical Damage %. The amount of those runes is to maximize the damage output, with power and crit dmg. Or is it just best to go full Divinity Runes?
Another thing, as I want to use sword in dungeon without dying (I don't like axes), is to replace other berserker earring with tough, vit, ? earring, and other berserker ring with tough, vit, ? ring. Maybe this will increase the survivability in dungeons.
I just want to know what you guys, and Liru, think about these possible changes

handy type of food.. as since we are non condition mostly with this build
(tried to add this as an edit to my post... but would not do it for some reason)

I followed your guide most of the time but I don't want to use a SB. Instead I've equiped an axe in the mainhand in the second set. My build looks like this right now:
http://www.guildhead...z7kIW70V7ow270m
Where should I spend the last 15 points to get the most out of it? Wilderniss Survival for lowered CD on Quickening Zephyr and more toughness? Nature Magic for more vitality longer lasting boons and maybe Circle of Life? Beastmastery for maximizing pet efficiency?

I see my Cat has Precision 229 and I am Level 25. What does 225 equal? Does the cat have 10% chance to critical hit? 60%?
And so when I increase the Beast Mastery trait line, how much of a benefit are my pet's stats getting?
Will I improve my Cat's critical chance to 100%? Is adding more BM trait points wasted after a certain point depending on my goal?

I'm (currently 31) following exactly what Liru's guide says, my question is if I'm having full profit of Ranger class, or there's something I must change.
Thanks in advance
