I need to know which crafting profession can make this. I've searched all over the place and asked in game, but I'm getting nothing.

This is the most expensive rune on my server, so someone is sitting on a goldmine and clearly not willing to share the secret!

If I had to bet, I'd say Armorsmith. But you probably need some rare stuff to discover it (I got 2 of those that require 350 skill, but I'm not high enough yet.)

This has been bothering me, too. :( So far I've just been buying "of the Dolyak" gear and salvaging runes out of them, but I'm not sure if it'd be cheaper to make my own or not since I can't find the mats that go into it.

Still nothing on this... if someone knows the secrets of this rune they're keeping it quiet and making a killing.

Why wouldn't they be keeping quiet and making a killing honestly? If we all found a way, we would too before it got owned.

Guys its not a secret. Not all runes can be crafted. There are 5 ways to get runes afaik:

1. Crafted e.g. Krait
2. Salvaged e.g. Scavenging
3. Mystic Forge - potentially any
4. Dungeon Token e.g. Noble
5. Drops - these tend to be the same as the dungeon ones as I've only seen them drop in dungeons

Dolyak can only be acquired from salvaging exotic armour with the dolyak rune. As a general rule, if you can't find it on a dungeon vendor or on the gw2db recipe list, its salvaged.

1) It is most expensive on ALL servers, because the market place is world-wide, not server-wide.
2) Not all runes can be crafted, rune of the dolyak being one of them.

Why are you all assuming that this can be crafted? Some things can be crafted through discovery, some things can be crafted only if you buy the recipe, and some things can't be crafted at all (except perhaps by getting lucky with the Mystic Forge). Rune of the Dolyak appears to fall in the third category right now, being available only from salvaging loot or getting lucky with the MF. Thinking that there is some secret recipe out there that others know and are keeping quiet is just paranoid given the way the system works.

i believe it is similar to rune of the divinity. I have yet to see any crafting recipes so it should belong to the 'savage' category too.
