Returning to the action itself, the battles are made to be highly dynamic, since any attack will be led by selecting a specific skill or magic, without the presence of any automatic attacks and with the added ability to perform evasive action moves, by pressing twice left or right arrow.
If launching flaming arrows or invoking ice storms is already spectacular against normal enemies that populate the land routes during exploration, it becomes exceptional when in large groups engaged in epic battles, like the dragon mentioned above, with some players committed to resuscitate or support those committed to cause real damage, while others are doing their utmost to make good use of the weapons such as cannons placed at the edge of the huge area where the clash occurs.
After about an hour and fifteen minute presentation of direct evidence, in short, the impressions can only be very positive with all the gameplay elements incorporated in an exciting and constantly moving fashion.
If the level of the entire production is indeed going to be similar to that of the demo tasted during gamescom 2010, it is not hard to imagine a successful future, with old players blessed with massive development of what they loved in the past and many new ones interested and curious in the new features that the title promises to show in the genre.

Does this mean it really is action-oriented combat?
If so...awesome! :D

It would certainly seem to be so, even from the gameplay videos. I will ask my fellow boss (who is the author of the article) confirmation when I can.

Huh? No, I'm happy. It wasn't sarcasm. :p I can see why you might think it so though. ;)

No worries. I will add something more: the final "Hopes and Fears" panel translation.

* Engaging dynamic environments and mission system
* Amazing attention to details
* Five races and eight classes give a lot to experience in the wide, persistent spaces
* Technically very well done
Fears
* The size of the game world and the amount of content will hopefully be substantial, as well as retaining the quality of the gamescom demo
* We must understand how well, without the fee, ArenaNet will support the development of new content

I'm afraid beta won't be soon, even though I'm told that registrations should come up quite soon on the website.

Thank you for the link and the highlights. I wish Google (or any other free translation program) did a better job.
