Dear Arena Net and Guild Wars 2 Guru users it has come to my attention that the slyvari dance is not that interesting and is rather odd and has some parts that simply go too fast.

I would like to suggest an alternative that would be much more memorable to everyone in the community

If this change comes to the game I can guarantee sales will improve by 413% and user satisfaction will be so high the customer support team will spend most of their time dancing as slyvari in The Grove with the rest of the player base.

While I don't care for my Sylvari's dance, the Charr definitely have the worst dance in the game and if anyone needs a new dance it's them.

I understand where they were going with the dance, but at the same time it seems a bit awkward. I think it would be funny if they did that dance the scene kids used to do where it looked like they were fighting invisible creatures.

Change the dance for Sylvari and be ready for 1k threads asking to change their race's dance as well.

While we are at it, change Charr dance to Caramelldansen. As for explanation, I do like dances to be silly and fun and not too serious. And Charr just hitting their chests, is not that funny.

I love the sylvari dance, it looks very fitting for them for some reason. I felt the sylvaris have the best dance in the game.

I, too, love the Sylvari dance. The free-spiritedness of bhangra goes well with the idea of a young, energetic, enigmatic, and at times whimsical race that is eager to experience life in full. It also helps to characterize the Sylvari as a fresh take on the elf archetype. I like Gangnam Style as much as the next guy, but I feel like it's a little too silly for the Sylvari, just as I feel like Carlton's dance is a little too silly for the Norn (but not to the point that I want it changed.) The Charr haka is perfect in my opinion. Regardless, it's barely been two weeks since launch; ArenaNet have a lot more important things on their plate than dances.

Think about it. If one race were to get a new dance, the other races naturally should get a new dance too. So they have to do the dance animation for all the races anyways.

personally i would like to see the charr dance changed to shuffle/hardstyle both would be incredibly amusing to watch a charr do imo

the dances are all fine imo ... The charr could use a little more oompf with their Hakka dance though ... it doesn't seem all that intimidating.
Before fixing the sylvari's dance they should fix some of the male sylvari's emotes first ... the crying emote for example is just horrible ... it's completely awkward in a bad way ... doesn't even seem like they are crying at all.
Also i miss the old surprise emote from the females where they used to scream in a really awkward uncontrolled way ... made them really seem impulsive like a kid.
Now they just make those overly controlled female human like noises.

Also unique fighting animations for every race would be welcome.

I also think the dances are all fine. Maybe a little tweak in animation for the others.

Also, out of all the dances, it's Gangnam Style!? That's really cliche/corny nowadays but each to his/her own.

Oh dear no no no no no. Keep that Gangnam nonsense to yourselves, the Sylvari dance is perfect for them. Personally I think all the dances are absolutely perfect for each race (the Charr dance could use some tweaking but keep it as the Haka.)

Add a cash shop emote, where your character's dancing is backed-up by quaggan doing the Gangnam style.
