Signet staff ele build

Its all about condition damage/toughness/healing. I throw on fire 3 and fire signet then do my best to land earth 2 and 5. That frees me up to use all the utility and heals on the staff while my damage ticks away. I could use some advice if anyone has any tips though.

I dropped the 'signets continue to work' for 2 reasons. The sigil I put onto your weapon will allow you to cure the conditions saved from signet of water just as often, while the fury granted from the 10 I added to air will give you more damage that you lost from your sigil and 10% more crit that you had with signet of fire's passive (while also granting it to allies). You'll also constantly have around 3 boons on yourself at once, giving the 25th trait in water both more damage and sustainability. Also, with an aura build, it's just too good to pass up the 30th water trait to share it with allies. I believe this will not only improve your solo abilities, but greatly protect your allies in the process. I also changed your runes to Earth runes, (if you're trying to go the tanky route). I think you'll like where this build is going .

I like the staff damage compared to S/F, but it feels too weak against ranged profs and forces you to take Mist or some other "oh shit" ability instead of another Signet.

I think it's good enought. Better surv~, maintaining signets effects, faster signets, auras and good DoT.
