omg look at the dyes!!! so jealous!!!!  lol

I have a hard time finding dyes that look right on my sylvari, especially heavy armor.  My sylvari guardian is a still very low lvl so i have hopes i will find the right combination of color/heavy armor other than the cultural armor.

I'm a thief and I use charcoal for the background and blood/midnight red for the smaller parts

Buying them directly, I don't actually buy them though, I place bids and wait them out. If i notice after a day I don't' have them (you can tell by looking at your transactions tab), then I re-bid on them.

I own every dye in-game except the ones that cost gold, which is 5 or so. I'll have those before end of the week though

Having every dye was a goal of mine since day 1. I change my dye colors on a daily basis though, so for me at-least, it was a necessary evil

I could actually have them now, but I am also saving up for T3 sylvari armor. Absolutely in love with that set.

I'm pairing Black with Teal accents. If I want a third color, I throw in Gunmetal as it remains dark but provides a contrasting color to black, allowing for a subtle pop of detail that is useful on things like Krytan leggings. Shows off the straps without shoving them in your face.

What armor set is that?! Is it Medium? It looks fantastic!

Oh wow, that's out of date. XD  THat is the Heritage armor from the Hall of Monuments.  Medium.  Very nice looking set.  If it wasn't the armor I was wearing from level 1-80, I would have kept it.

Abyss, Celestial, Ash, and Stream.  Abyss on the black bits, Celestial on the shoulder pad, as it gives a chrome effect on some metals which is lost in the screenshot, Ash, as it's a pretty neutral grey metallic, and Stream, as it's a rich but vivid blue that matches my weapons.

Each of my 5 characters has their own color theme.

Charr Warrior ; Reds and Golds
Norn Ranger: Blues
Human Mesmer: Purples, with either a bit of Pink or a bit of Gold
Sylvari Theif: Pink
Asuran Engineer: Orange and Blue.

There really are a ton of great dyes in this game, but my favorite dye so far has to be midnight fuschia - it's the perfect dark purple, with midnight violet coming in second.

I use Midnight Fuschia and White on my Ranger, Evergreen, Midnight Violet and Aquamarine on my Necro.

Well, I think that the yellow/black/white combo looks really great.
I dont really like vibrant colors on my character, and I think this looks plain, and looks awesome!


Have bought hundreds of dyes during the CATASTROPHIC DYE ECONOMY DOWNFALL, and i still prefer these colors.

I don't have "one" style, I got a few, like 3 or 4 since I really can't decide which one I like the most ^^ Also it keeps things interesting and fresh switching between them, but currently I use a combo of Illumination/Midnight Ice/Blood.

I got inspired by the Order of Whisper dyes, so I replicated their colors and modified them. It ended up pretty well I think.
