Hi, I'm running GW2 on Windows 8 on a MacBook Pro using Bootcamp. Happy to say the game installed OK, and I was able to play it no problem. It shut down OK without crashing, too. Now, though, when I launch GW2, the entire .dat file (140,000+ files) starts to download again, even though I already have it and, as far as I can tell, it isn't corrupted. I'm running the game as an administrator. I'm sure if I let the download run its course it would start up OK, but I don't want to have to wait five hours AND download 15GB of data every time I play. Any clues as to why it should be doing this? Anything I can do to prevent it from happening? Thanks all.
.dat file keeps trying to reinstall every time I launch GW2
