- broken skill point challenges make zone completions next to impossible unless a guardian with the magic staff spell comes along. Or you xfer servers - not an option I'm going to employ
- low levels tagging along with zergs and sponging xp/karma are annoying and should be treated as exploiters (although it is comical to watch them die and then to not rez them)
- the whole zerg thing is pretty lame - 50ish people running from one vet/champ event to another as fast as humanly possible and mowing down said mobs with zero threat or thinking involved and crappy/zero loot is ungodly lame. So much for scaling in DEs...those mobs should at least be an interesting challenge or have ANY ability that kills somebody occasionally, instead of just zerg and spank. It's pretty stupid that some champ mobs in noobie zones (flame shaman) or other low level zones (giant in diessa) slaughter players while champs in Orr are generally zerg and spank snoozefests.
- if you're not in a zerg you're dealing with near instant repops of thick and highly aggro mobs that call friends almost everywhere you go.
- bots everywhere logging in to grab nodes and logging out again and/or naked and dead. You see a lot of random placement of nodes in most zones. There are spots in orr where nodes are regular and you can see the bots (or lame players, either way, it's lame) logging a parade of characters in/out at those nodes.
- there are broken DEs in most zones but they stand out more in Orr since they are the content
I have enjoyed doing small group stuff there with guildies/friends.
These zones weren't tested in BWEs so ANet couldn't have predicted how players would approach them (zergs, for ex) and no amount of BWE would've exposed how the farmers/botters would behave. I expect ANet will make some tweaks as they review how things are flowing. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I just want to point out that Guardians cannot resurrect a dead skill challenge, they can only turn it aggressive or get it out of walls. Everyone reading needs to make sure that the guardian can actually do something before begging for a guardian to come save them.
When we can unbug the event - ask politely and don't be snobby otherwise no one will come to help you.

I just hit Orr on my guardian and I'm kind of confused by this; how do we unbug events?

If you drop Line of Warding on top of them you can often unlock them, make them hostile, or push them out of a wall. It's very difficult, though, and it requires special placement. Most of the time the mob is simply dead.

But its not just Orr, a lot of the zones in general are incredibly buggy in the past few weeks and the main chains in about every zone I've been in has been broken somewhere. >.<

Lets face it there isn't much else there unless you go for completion. At least from what I have seen.

with the diminished return on farming the same type of monsters....I just wish there was stuff other than risen to kill....not to mention they are annoying as hell.

seen this with the orc ores- guy popped up in front of me mined it then logged out.. but far as the zerg goes- we are all level 80's (well most) and a lot of us in exotics with exotic weapons.. and the amount of conditions put on the bosses like the broodmother is enough to shut them down completely- so I don't see how that's really surprising.. seen the giant in diessa have the same thing happen to him- was totally gimped and went down without an issue.. think have a screen of that one cause I was surprised coming from beta where he stomped everyone..
when grenths servant shows you do see people going down quite a bit in the zerg.. try the story mode crucible sometime in maelstrom.. we did that last night- finished up the whole storyline and there was a asura boss who had this gun.. put a cap in your ass one hit
can't wait to do that one explorable.. the world outside the dungeons- you can pretty much run full condition / power / precision and get away with it..
off topic but anyone see those messages in game to buy gold? I was getting a lot of them for while but not recently.. think flannum roid raged when he got one in game and banned a bunch

Yes you can level down, but you just got your whole spec FINISHED and you have to go wack undead or other players at this point.
Wish we had multiple 80 zones to enjoy rather than one dead continent thats half broken.

Yet... most people go there to farm and then complain. That's because your motivation is NOT fun, it's to "farm".

Well I don't know about other people but when I go to farm Orr, most of money I make is from the gathering nodes and mob drops - karma is pretty useless unless you're going for a ledge and the DE's give a pittance in silver. I mean even the anti farming script that kicks in is not enough incentive to change zone for me.
Would have to offer a pretty hefty amount of silver for DEs in other zones to encourage people to move, as by default you will be losing silver from the drops/nodes you're missing out on.

Also, i heard for the temples, the event chain is that you retake the temple or something, Does that mean you repeat that, like the Risen take it over again after you liberated it? For someone who isn't there, it's all a bit confusing lol

I'm not in a zerg, because I find them boring, and I don't experience this. Move more carefully, watch where you are going. Don't run around like a headless chicken and expect to be rewarded for it.
Respawn isn't slow, but you can always kill stuff and explore around before stuff repops. And I play a slow kiling character...
Pretty much every "problem" with Orr can be solved by not going with the zerg. Except the three broken skillchallenges and two broken events, those can be solved by Anet finally fixing them, the slackers. (missing two sps in one orr zone is a pain)

YOU don't have the complete them, but someone has to. Once they are completed, the vendor stays up for 4 hours or six or something like that.
