NB: I don't support the White Mantle, they just have an infinitely cooler logo
Anyone have ideas for a third shirt to make? Preferably WiK or GW2 related.

Growth is a terrible thing. :P I really want the GW2 store to open up with some shirts and such soon so I can start sporting dragons and Norn and Charr around campus. :)

Backgrounds ahoy!

Like I said, I've started messing 'round in photoshop, degrading the incredible work of the ANet concept artists and malforming it to fit my desktop.  
Images and links for d/l below.

Since this isn't my art, people are obviously welcome to fiddle with the backgrounds as you please (for colour coordination, size, etc) - if you make cool stuff, I'd like to see?

Full attention is on the character. I like my backgrounds simple. It actually goes very well as a 1280x1024 background. Using it as I speak :)

Anywho, yes.  I am *tremendously* enamored of the predominant style of the art surrounding GW2, so this is super-rewarding for me to get to play with.

Here's a background for asura fans.  I like the Eternal Alchemy aspect of the Asura, but that's about it - well, that and this particular piece of art.  Zojja's just so cute. :3


This is an irregular size!  I made it 1680x1050 for my old desktop, and then added some extra pixels on the side so people with larger res screens don't have to worry about having a hard, clipped edge (since that's the whole reason for editing these up in the first place >.>) Trying to be as multi-user-friendly as possible.  That said, if you don't like having her so center-ish, it should be pretty easy for you to move the image around to a corner or wherever you like, without it being too obviously changed. :D

edit: !@$@%#@%^, I keep typing "asura" (and all the other species) with a capital at the start.  I'm grateful that the house style's been changed to reflect common grammatical rules, but I'm such a creature of habit. T.T

Again, this has been made so that there aren't any hard edges at the edge of the canvas - so feel free to shrink, move, and adjust this to your heart's content.

there are others I love, as well,  so it's really up to you.

Also, just do what you feel like doing, if norn happens to be next, then cool, but you know, it's always better to follow that natural flow. If you don't feel like doing a norn piece, totally cool too.
