I was just wondering how much SoD really improves conditions. I am running a staff/GS condition build and while it looks like the logical choice, I can't say for sure.

It scales based on your level. I believe it is +50 condition damage @ lv 80. You can confirm yourself by checking your character panel as it updates based on what skills you equip.

There is one important thing regarding SoD: when signet is on CD, there is no passive bonus.

when i checked it on golems... increased my bleed damage by 5..  i have found not running it to be more useful

Generaly I run it for the on demand cc, the extra condition damage is just a nice bonus.

Most signets are garbage from my experience. Warriors have the best traits and signets bar none. Thief gets an uber 25% run speed on top of the crazy mobility already and a 150% attack active signet. Plague is nice on necro but it doesn't work as advertised which makes it partly useless. Engi gets zilch as do guardians. The only one on mesmer I think about is the illusion health one and that's dubious at best. The stun active on the one signet wouldn't be bad if it didn't interfere with most builds I've seen or use to get the cooldown trait. Ranger signets pretty much require the trait for them so they work on you and that requires a specific build and play style.
