Personally, I'd like a monthly incentive to do different dungeons, and different paths to the usual ones.
However I think that giving a piece of the set for running, in essence 3 dungeons within a monthly period of time, would be too easy. I think they should give a bunch of mystic coins and some tokens... maybe 60, on top of what you get for running the place ofc, and would be more in line with their rewards throughout other areas.
However I do want to raise one concern I'd have with this type of system. Whenever you implement a weekly or monthly task, that's specific such as this, you culture the mind set in players that they must do x, y and z within that period of time or be missing out. This is the case in other mmo's where you have to do your raid each week or miss the lock out.. or your daily quests or miss out on reputation etc. While that mind set is obviously already there and it might help to alleviate some people's perceptions of lack of content; I'd rather not resort to falling back on the old ways of thinking. I want, personally, and as a game, to do the dungeons because it's fun.. not because there's even the slightest hint of nagging at the back of my mind that I'd miss out on 60 tokens if I didn't do it.
The rest of the game is awesome like that, not having lock outs or daily stuff to do. The achievements currently are real basic stuff on the daily achi's and yeah the monthly rewards aren't make or break tbh, whereas dungeon armour/tokens etc would be a bigger carrot.
Anyway, overall I think it could have merit, but they'd have to be careful to balance the rewards carefully.
