Ok so tomorrow I am going to buy the final parts for my gaming computer. I was planning on going to buy the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti since the GTX 560 and GTX 560 Ti are out of my budget. However, I stumbled upon the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 SE. I have done a little bit of research and people have been saying that it's just a little bit underneath the GTX 560 but above the GTX 550 Ti. It is also within my price range. I'm wondering if  buying the GTX 560 SE really would be better than buying the GTX 550 Ti (performance wise of course). If anyone has any information on this or can give me a comparison of the GTX 550 Ti to the GTX 560 SE, it would be greatly appreciated. Please post as soon as possible. (A comparison of their performance on GW2 would be greatly appreciated as well!)

Computer Specs:

CPU- i5 3570k
RAM- 8 GB (to be bought- Corsair, Kingston, or Crucial)
HDD- 1TB 7200RPM 32MB Cache Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive
Operating System- Windows 7 64bit (to be bought)
PSU- Corsair CX 500 Watt (pretty sure this is enough power )
GPU- (Either NVIDIA GeFore GTX 550 Ti or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 SE) - (to be bought)

GTX 550Ti , 560 se, and GTX 650 is not worth it

The 560 SE is a bit better than the 550 Ti overall, but the 550 Ti is usually a bit cheaper. The HD7770 is a tiny bit better than the 560 SE, but maybe not enough to overcome brand preference.

The 7770 and 560 SE are about the same performance level while the 7770 uses less than half the power - and brand preference doesn't get you more fps, cheaper electricity or cooler/quieter components.  It's a no brainer tbh.

Where does the 560 se even compete with a 7770 ghz edition?
7770s run as fast as a 6850 or gtx 460 1gb for 110 dollars.

The only benchmarks were from launch where the 7770 was a little behind the 6850 and pretty much on par with the 560 SE.  It'll be a lot faster now - probably on par with the 6850 like you say, but I haven't seen any updated benches for a while.
