Hello again everyone! As you guys know, PAX is getting closer and closer so I'm here to ask for more questions for the devs to answer for us. :D

We'll pick a handful to be answered and hopefully we'll have a chance to come back and grab some more for a second interview once PAX is underway. I've got until Monday to pick the first questions so please keep that deadline in mind!

Where are the quivers? Is there an option to not display them, or were they just not in the demo? If there's no quivers, does that mean we don't have to buy arrows?

Slightly off-topic question:

Can we, the loredelvers, do this over at Durmand Priory as well (a lore-only Q&A with Jeff or Ree)?

Id like to know some of the amphibious pets. Since we already know only land and only water pets.

I think they've already answered that with a 'WiP' sort of answer. And they've already said that there won't be 'ammo' in GW2.

Will skill descriptions eventually show numbers or will they remain the way they are in the demo?

Will the Ritualist's playstyle return (jack-of-all-trades with static summons featuring prominently)?

Sneaky, sneaky.

Also, why no platinum? D:

That's a good question. I'll see if I can make it happen. For now, though, just ask any lore-related questions you may have here. :)

Does this answer you (as best as it can for now)?

Zyuu: Since the Necromancer was revealed, does this solidify that the Ritualist will not be present in GW2?

Jeff Grubb: We haven't revealed the other four so to say that we chose one over the other is to bar hands. We are going to be revealing the remaining four – and there are some surprises there – as we go forward but I'm not going to go one way or another. What we're looking for in general is archetypes of play-styles. People will, who play a ritualist or a mesmer or a necromancer or any of the old, old characters, will feel like they have a home somewhere in Guild Wars 2. We are basically identifying the styles of play for that and then designing accordingly.

How long will the Elite Norn Racials last? And what is the different between transforming into a wolf or raven?

What will be the maximum party size?
Currently I think we don't have parties in there (not done yet, that is). But we've already released the information that the party size is going to be five players. That's basically our current party size.

Was there any confirmation about being able to read books of lore in-game? If not, please ask if it will be possible. :D

Will there be ways to spend Life Force other than Death Shroud? EDIT: Izzy Cartwright confirmed a no on this one.

What is the general plan for skill scaling? Everything scaling off Str/Agi/Int or will healing/defensive utility skills scale off Vit/Wis?

we cannot walk as of yet. Which should be noted, and we can pressure them to add walking.

Yep, it'd be nice to ask the devs to go a bit more into details (i'f possible) with how the swimming & climbing systems will work.

They answered the swimming one long time ago, but quite vaguely, and now that we've seen a bit of underwater footage, they may feel more generous.

It's somewhat hard to come up with good questions since ANet will only reveal stuff that they were going to tell us in any case, so the best one can do is to ask for clarifications on already revealed issues.

In any case, I don't know whether this has been answered yet but I would really want to know whether the character naming rules of the demo are relaxed just for the demo or will they carry as such to the eventual game as well (i.e., the ability to have just one name instead of the Firstname Surname template of GW1)?

1.Will all proffesion be revealed before beta?
2.Can i get other pets than the ones at character creation? pets like the phoenix in GW1.
3.Will the feature "Duel" be in GW2?
4.Is crafted gear better than found gear?
5. Will our character be invulnerable when we respawn after death?
6. Can the shatterer wipe out everyone near him when enough people fight him?
7.Can asuras have beard or mustasch?
8.Can norn be tall,really tall?
9. Where's the quivers as someone asked?

My question:

The developer's have said already said already that a change in weapons can result in a drastic change in playstyle. However, there has been little word on just how much traits affect playstyle. Can you give us some detailed examples of how a trait would generally make, say, one ranger wielding a sword different from another with the same weapon?

and another big one:

Most of the cross profession combos revealed thus far seem to entail an elementalist + 1 other class. Can you give us a few examples of some that do NOT include the elementalist?

Also: First post from a long-time lurker.

Might want to give them a list of questions and let them select the ones they can answer, instead of getting a lot of 'No we cant talk about that yet' responses.

I would also like them about the crafting system. I know they won't shed much light on this, but i'd still like to think they intend to make it useful (as in the crafted items will actually be of use, and not simply discarded or sold to make some profit back.)

AND, i'd like to ask also (crafting related) if it could be possible to win one's bread by doing crafting only. I'm not talking about gathering skills (if there are any) we all know that's a moneymaking system. i'd like to know if making a sword may actually yield profit, something i've never seen on any other MMO.
