It's buried in the compilation thread, so thanks for making a separate topic :)

Yeah thanks for making a thread specifically for this video. I was going to do it myself but ya beat me to it. :p

About the video: WOW.

The game looks much much better than I anticipated. Though some of the transitional animations could use some work, overall it looks fantastic. The sound is top-notch impressive and they weren't lying about the " Painterly Look ", it looks jaw droppingly gorgeous.

Okay I'm done fanboying now, lol.

Everything in this video looks pretty cool.  I'm digging the environmental sound effects.

I do too, but I can't help myself. So I just say to myself 'relax Awesome, it's just the human starting area and some Charr fighting a dragon minion, no big deal'.

And it's all good.

Well.. it only really ruins the start for one of the five races so thats my justification!!

During the video I just noticed something... The charr voice acting is... well... Simply awfull. The charr voices should be more harsh, more growly, more beastlike. The charr in the game sound like humans, and that's just wrong.

Lots of the voices have been toned down from what they were, I think.

Though, if you made me choose between extensive varied voice acting in the game or less voice acting with more diverse sounds I'd definatly choose the former

This is awesome. Feels like whoever is playing this plays the game like I would play. Going off in other directions and looking up at Divinity's Reach as you go through the gate. Got to see a lot more stuff than the walkthrough we got with the on-screen demos. Thanks for posting this.

Sure he can. Might be cheaper too, so then they can have all that extra to put a quiver and arrow animation in the game so the ranger isn't pulling an imaginary projectile from their spinal cord.

I tried watching this yesterday and only saw 10 minutes of it and got mad cause it took so long to load. I'm going to try and watch it again right now, but this time I'm gonna let it load for awhile.

From what I saw yesterday though, the voice acting and sound effects is amazing. It really does seem as though the world is alive! It's freaky and cool at the same time.

All we need is him, Morgan freeman, James Earl Jones(Darth Vader's voice) and Shawn Connery and we'd be set. Heck have them do the sound effects as well.

Charr voices? Just record a few hours of lions at the zoo, then add subtitles!

James Earl Jones............I can imagine him either as a wisened old human or Charr........that would be sweet. I wouldn't mind hearing either Clint Eastwood or John Wayne as human voices for "gunners". Too bad Mr. Wayne is dead.  :(

It would indeed would be nice if the guys at PAX gave us a lot of direct feed stuff. That was the only disapointing thing about Gamescom!

This was really impressive. Obviously the mob AI is still being worked on, but seeing the overall world and gameplay was really nice. The sound adds a lot compare to some of the other demos floating around.

As others have said, I'm liking this a lot. Except for the Charr voices. They make me sad. Steve Blum or not, all the Charr in GW:EN sounded Charr-ish. Steve Blum didn't voice all them did he?

Even then, someone who isn't Steve Blum yet is a voice actor should be able to inflect a Charr types sound into the voice. Even a bit. So it makes me wonder why they didn't go that direction :(
