Hello.

I couldn't find that much information about the title "Ascendant". So like I've understood the title is the final title of scoring points in PvP as you can see it from here. http://wiki.guildwar...i/PvP_Conqueror

I have a friend who has got a title Ascendant from Hall of Monuments. http://wiki.guildwar..._(achievements)

The fact that there are two titles with the same name confuses me. The friend of mine claims that he has max rank in PvP because he has the HoM title but I really can't believe that. So the question stands is he telling the truth or just making it up?

Obviously he's making it up..got same HoM title and of course I'm miles away fromt eh Pvp counterpart which require miliions of PvP point accumulated

I've seen a single rank 36 and thats the highest i've seen anyone.

Your 'friend' most certainly made it up. However, its is kinda silly to have the two cross over.

So... the top PvP title is the same as a seemingly easily obtainable title that carries over from another game? Sounds like a splendid idea!

I think they will change the name of the PvP version, but there's no rush since people won't get it for another 2-3yrs.

Nobody has even hit rank 50 yet, let alone 80. It will likely be months until we see the first level 80 (maybe even years). You need 721,500 glory points just to reach rank 48. That's at least 700-800 hours of play time (and the numbers only get bigger from there).

Quite literally, if he played for every second of every day since the game has been out- he still wouldn't be max rank. Even if he was in a group of players doing the exact same thing. The glory required to level gets increased dramatically in the higher levels, so those players who are level 40 now- will be level 41 as fast as some players starting sPvP get from 1-15. Just thinking about a player going from 79 to 80 in GW2 makes D&D leveling look like Cata WoW.

we got lvl 43 guy, lvl 40 and plenty of 30-39 guys.

As for the "ascendant" guy. It's not physically possible so he is lying obviously. 100% sure there's not a person with even rank 50 yet.

also 40 -> 41 is like 1-20
