If you’ve ever attended PAX before, you know we always have a lot going on – so much, in fact, that we’re going to need a separate follow-up post to go into more detail.

Well with only a few days to go (3 days for me), would it be possible to get an update on when we are going to see the 'detail' post.  Because I, and I'm sure others will have limited net access once I leave home, and I would like some idea of how much time I will/won't have before I find it difficult to connect to the net for updates.

There's a note on the website, that all tickets are sold out, there won't even be any available on the door.

Still I'd love to know what A-net has planned, BEFORE I fly across the pond.

To whom it may concern, there is a little veggie hotdog place called Cyber Dogs on the corner of 9th and pike (1 block from where PAX will be). That has about 8 computers for customers to use... have to spend 2 bucks I think.

I really hope someone records/streams this so the rest of us back home can watch it:

Saturday - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, Room 304
Guild Wars 2: Designing Dynamic Events

What does it take to create MMO content? Veteran game designers Eric Flannum and Colin Johanson, key creators behind ArenaNet’s upcoming Guild Wars 2, will give audience members a unique perspective on designing MMO content in this fascinating talk and workshop. In an informal presentation, Eric and Colin will show you how Guild Wars 2 designers create events in the dynamic, living game world and the many factors to consider when designing any kind of MMO content. Attendees will leave with a greater insight into the work of game designers and a deeper understanding of the Guild Wars 2 dynamic event system.

This session is a ticketed event with limited attendance. Please stop by the Guild Wars 2 Booth #642 to find out how you could get a ticket.

Panelists include: Eric Flannum, Colin Johanson

ArenaNet have seperatly filmed their PAX panels in the past, so I don't think we will need to record streams (if there are any).

Definitely looking forward to PAX... I'm not going but I wish I was.

I wonder if they're going to show off anything new and sparkly.

One benefit... all the videos will be in English!

I can't wait!! I can hardly handle the excitement, no idea how I'm going to get through a week of school between now and then. XD

But, yeah, I am also anxious to hear more about what they've got planned.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. It's only 5 days away.

*realization*

Only five days?? Where does the time go? :O

Don't count on it. ANet would have to create an entirely new demo for that to be possible.

Oh, I always though PAX would have a brand new demo. Now that I think of it, does not make much sense (in a realistic way ).

Then again, they had I think 2 weeks in between Gamescon & PAX. Maybe they decided to be fancy and actually do it. I mean those 3 races already are in-game, just need to set up level and content restriction.

I don't think they're that far yet with the whole game. Plus two weeks isn't enough time to make a demo. Considering balancing, debugging, leaving content out, leaving professions out, making sure the dialogues dont contain any information that is not supposed to be revealed yet, uploading servers, installing computers, making sure the demo runs smooth on all systems. Quality assurance takes alot of time I would say. ;P

I hope that the time goes by as fast so GW2 can finally get released ;)

Two weeks isn't a lot of time in terms of large-scale software development, so don't get your hopes up that anything will be different.
