Hey! Everyone is still very unclear on how much they can expect to get out of transmuting an item of one tier to an item of the next. The only way we can get accurate expectations is through HUGE sample sizes, so I thought I'd start a thread where people can list their experiences, which I will then put into a working spreadsheet with average yields. Please post each individual observation you have.

I'll begin:

So you put 250 silk only ??? And you get 17 gossamers ???

I think is the same as selling the silk and just buying gossamer, not much of a difference.

I've gotten 14 Gossamer Scraps and 17 Orichalcum Ore from their respective "upgrades". I'd have transformed another stack of Mithril if it weren't for leveling my Jeweler, heh.
