Hi, don't know in depth what you're discussing, but I'd like to point out that this game is much more about how you play than what you play, meaning that you can run around dead herring and slap enemies in the face with it and still be succesful if you're focused and quick witted. Therefore, if you run around with people you know and are pretty experienced in playing with, you'll most definitely be successful unless the god of lag decides to smite you. But running with a pug gives you players you have no experience with and almost definitely don't have the same strategies that you do in the same instance, so you'd have to make new strategies or Leroy Jenkins the f*** out of it. My point: This is when builds matter. When you're playing with the same people you have a certain amount of security in the form of experience, while the dangers of pugging is where you need a build that can handle certain situations or perhaps even any. At least that's my opinion of it :)

No, I understand pugs are different and wouldn't expect every warrior to run full dps and berserker in a pug, especially newer players, although I still think the defense line overall is pointless still.

My response was more to point out that this build can't match the dps of a true dps warrior and that needing defense to do hard content is false for both harder dungeons like Arah and high level fractals if you run organized groups.

I understand your point of view. But you either have a really different experience from high fractals (40+) or you just never really played at these level.

I'm going to just assume you're not familiar with Strife's guild if you honestly think he's lying about running level 40+ fractals.

^^^This.

9.9999 times out of 10, running full 'Zerker in a PUG is suicide. :(

"Sonic boon wars"... now you rip off a build that's been around for months before and you take credit for it?
If GW1 vets heard of this... At least I made mine myself
.
Honestly I have no problems with shout Warriors throwing shit here, they're just embarassing themselves and showing everyone their status of baddies.
Wasting 3 utilities for a 6k heal is a terribly noob idea equal to GW1 Wammo; all mobs in endgame hits for that amount, so you waste 3 utilties for the equivalent of one Aegis.
Double endure pain gives you 8 seconds of 0 damage taken.

If one believes blocking the equivalent of one hit is better than blocking 8 seconds of hit, he can't really be talked into sense.
Let fractal teams call him an idiot several times then he will learn by mistake.

I like my Sonic Boon shout build it's been pretty nifty inside them dungeons XD!!

I'll try this build to but there's nothing wrong with a Warrior who can dish out damage and keep others healed a bit. I out damage most people I play with in PUG with the Sonic Boon Build and help keep people alive in sticky situations. It's also a nice cheap build, not something that requires vast amounts of Gold like this build, telling players they need Runes that are way over priced -_-

Ismael, please do not succumb to the lies and fallacies shown in this build, do not waste your money. Please take a look at my comment here, as it explains thoroughly all of the wrongs in this build. When asked to explain the wrongs, Red_Falcon only responded with personal insults against me and conjecture. Please keep this in mind and read my comment and the following replies from Red_Falcon, hope you see the light! ^^

The defense tree for warriors is rather lacking in general, as are the defensive oriented weapon sets. This build is not very good.

Just sharing in my latest build: http://gw2buildcraft....0.0.k65|54.1|e

5000 effective power, 30% damage reduction, crazy OP healing through lifesteal, instant adren filling for Evis spamming, near-permanent Signet of Rage boons.
Pretty much like a classic zerker on the damage department, except for more than double the damage reduction, crazy healing and perma SoR.

Also works with GS but self-healing isn't on par with A/A and you don't get Eviscerate 11k crits obviously.

I would make a new thread for your new build, no? Lets let this one die.

I don't understand why people are so.. "hate this post, cause it has a hard fail build in it" The thing with build is. This is  theory crafting, with idea/ points giving out to convince you to buy this build. By saying buy I mean try the build out. You're free to do whatever you want with your damn warrior, but this guy is  only SUGGESTING a way to play your warrior.

Now whatever comes after that I'd be happy to try this build out and see if it fits my playstyle, if not try something else... like sonicboon...

Nah I don't really think I need a thread for each build I make. So far it would be 4 threads just for my builds.

Plus this one I just posted is very similar to this (albeit with bazillions more damage) so I think it fits here.

Ryuu, I know what you are saying, and I get it. He is technically just theory crafting and etc. It is in the way his build is shown where the problem arises. There is no problem with a person posting a crappy build, but there is an issue with posting a crappy build and saying it's the best. He advertises this build in 100 different ways and they are all false. "Invincible" "25 Might stacks" "Full Weapon potential" are just some of the phrases he uses that cause people to think this build is some stellar elite build and it's not. It causes people to waste money, and more people to run awful builds not for fun, but because they think they are good. It's fine to run a crappy build, and it's fine to run a fun build. But to post on a forum and take advantage of people who don't know any better by phrasing your post with jazz words and lying?! That is false advertising, and it's illegal in real life. It's nearly as harmful here, and that is why people dislike Red_Falcon and want him to stop posting builds like the ones he does.

Look, the problems with this build have even been proved on several different occasions and he STILL has not changed the OP or asked a mod to change his thread title. He's using the little people to become popular, in a way. Not to mention he ignores facts, insults other users personally, and is very very arrogant.

Now replace the name Red Falcon with Brand with the above post, and everything applies just the same.

Don't be off topic, reply to my thread if you have a gripe with me, and there I will supply you with proof that you are wrong.
