I'm personally trying to keep it consistent, realistic and in the spirit of the race and class... I'm lucky I've found "Icing" on my human Guardian, It's a good metallic colour (too bright for a Warrior ofc) and suits the class IMO. The only classes I may go crazy with are the more flamboyant clothies, but my Guardian and Engi will keep it as real and consistent as possible (though my engi's pyromaniac tendencies have caused him to dye parts of his leathers a rather fiery colour)

Actually what I'd like would be patterns... I kind of miss this with the appearances here.

You mean the pattern you get on the Herritage armour skin?  (those stripes)

Dunno about that armour skin but yeah, I'd like the possibility to have more than one colour on each surface. Mostly for my leather wearers, I'd like them to have some subtle hint of camo on their clothes (not too much of course, just a little bit for the weather worn effect) - they are Adventurers after all!

I made the unfortunate mistake of using the black dye I found instead of selling it. I assumed it would look good, given the price on the TP. The true "Black dye" is actually completely horrible, every alternative black or near black color I got so far looks better.

Don't know. Just picked up Midnight Fire, and thought it looked good on my elemetalist, especially since I was going for more reddish colors for him.
Not really sure how good of a shot this it, though I guess it gets the dye in both shadow and stark light.

I'll use it, because I want my colours complete

And I'd love some true black for my boots.  I think boots should be black!
