I'd post this as a suggestion on the official forums, but they're botched up at the moment and won't let me log in.
Basically I'd just love to see the Dagger become a main-hand option for Rangers, used as a thrown weapon similar to the Ranger Axes, and wanted other people's opinions on this.
Currently no other class has throwing daggers, and I'd really love that option. Of the other D/D using classes, two simply hold them while casting spells and the other uses them in melee.
It seems like it'd be easy as hell to add as well, since all they'd have to do is create 3 new skills.
Frankly, I think throwing daggers probably fit the Ranger archetype even easier than the hatchets, and I'm really disappointed that they weren't included from the start.

I agree.

A completely (or mostly) ranged skill set for dagger would be sweet. The thief's #4 skill is technically a thrown dagger, but a whole skill set for ranged daggers? Awesome.

or maybe (crazy idea) more melee options?

we have sword and GS as melee

axe / longbow / shortbow for long range, plus I'd consider most of our offhands as ranged.

unrelated note, i'd like more ranged pets.

Anything equivalent to throwing knives would be amazing (though I'm still more of a throwing axes fan). Then again, just about every class, save for the warrior maybe, want more weapon variety/selection.
