Hello people

A while ago i made  a ferocious, blood legion, charr ranger.
Now i got that far in the game to pick an order and yes, i accidentally picked the wrong 1..
so my question is, if it would be totally ridiculous for my charr to be in the durmand priory?
Both lore and gameplay wise?

Thanks in advance

Nah, s/he could always legitimise it by joining in the hopes of discovering some kind of ancient superweapon.

Or play it like it happened.

I like Brynjar's suggestion.

Though it should be possible to change orders. Not sure how though...

To be honest I think there should be a way of changing which order you join before meeting your order rep in LA.

Maybe... I don't know, erm... like in GW1 with the suspicious Luxon trying to get people to the Luxon side.

Thanks for all the replies so far!

But to narrow things down, i should add that i picked the honorless gladium questline and chose maverick.
Dont know if it changes things, but here it is^^

The honorless gladium questline actually does tie in to the priory storyline with a nice little easter egg down the road, so don't think of it as a total loss.

The priory members are often found saying something along the lines of research is useless without using it... The priory is not a bunch of bookworms who take no action... Think more Indiana Jones.

There are quite a few charr NPCs in the Priory, including one half of a charr/asura team that are absolutely awesome.

Huh? I just played through the Vigil storyline and it seems to have way more to do with the treaty in Ascalon than anything else (which totally took me off guard in a good way).

Except that Vigil is about Renegades, not risen.

It's the Pact storyline - which is encountered regardless of your order - that deals with risen.

I know i have to take the priory path and it aint all that bad, but what i really want to know, is if its weird for a blood legion charr to be in the priory?

Weird? Yes. Unheard of? Probably not.

It's not as weird as, say, a bear norn joining the Whispers.

Vigil would probably have been better, but the Priory still works better than Whispers - after all, the Priory still needs muscle.

Thank you all for the replies!

Im going to continue playing my charr ranger. Altho i chose the priory by mistake, i actually feel good about it.
I like the quests so far and when i think of it, its actually quite nice to go out of the ordinary and choose something different.(its a "personal "story after al) and who knows what adventures may lurk around the corner!! GW2 is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get.. ;-D.

Thank you all for beeing so helpfull!
