I'm trying to locate the vendor for the recipe to make the Eye of Power Scepter.  I suspect it is from a Karma vendor, DE completion merchant, or possibly the Mystic Forge.

Does anyone know how or where to obtain this recipe?

I asked Lindsey and she said it wasnt a karma vendor. could be a DE npc though.

Anyone have any more information on this item? Would like to make myself one but can't seem to find the recipe anywhere and google turns up nothing useful.

Ah, the influence of GW2Spidy.    This is oddly/randomly one of the most profitable non-exotic, non-80 recipes for artifacing as reported by the spidy, and one of the reasons is undoubtedly because very few people (in the world) know the recipe.

Thanks to the global economy, niche markets are insanely hard to find/create and sustain.  And the more data that gets distributed to everyone, the harder it gets!  Anything that can be crafted easily is typically worth less than the vendor price on the TP, so anything that is really hard to find is naturally more valuable.  However, in order for that information to reach the masses, someone has to give it up:  and by giving it up you're destroying your own niche market.  In that respect, it's hardly surprising that there isn't much information online about how to find this recipe.

If the vendor is the same level as the recipe it probably comes from Sparkfly Fen.

Hmm I've checked the L60 zones and couldn't find it. Perhaps it is after an event or something and I've just missed where it is.

I'm going to start dedicating my life to finding these stupid recipes and posting them in the forums for people to locate easier. I hope it will destroy these markets and people QQ and call me a troll. No worries tho, I love you too!

It is probably a merchant who shows up at the end of a currently bugged or stuck DE.  If you're going to hunt it down, keep an eye out for things that look out of place or dialogues that suggest that something in the DE chain is busted.

Tier 1 and 2 cultaral doesn't have unique skins and I'm also pretty sure it's Asuran not Sylvari.

Yes verdant weapons are drops and sylvari/asura t2 weapons. They share weapons. The t1 weapons for asura/syvari are glyphic which are also common drops.

The recipe is from an NPC that turns into a karma vendor after a DE, that is what I was told by Lindsay.

Lol that 88s, I make 15g a week in selling Satchels... Have fun with your Crummy market. If I had to guess the DE is in Sorrows Embrace. I'll figure that out on Wednesday and collapse the Scepter's already lame market.

Just to give some peace to who opened this thread who probably is still curious, there isn't a karma vendor for this recipe . It's a drop clearly.
