OK...I know, I know...everyone is thrilled to have makeovers available so they can re-tweak their toons...I get it, and I am glad for everyone who is looking forward to this.

I think we should get something where we could pick the dance our character does.

Sell it in the Gem Store.

Let us pick from the existing dances, maybe add in 1-3 more. I know that takes some programming time and such, but it would be most excellent. Maybe bring back a dance or 2 from GW1...I mean who wouldn't like to see a Charr or an Asura doing the Napoleon Dynamite Dance?

I am a primary Norn player...and I know I would LOVE to change my dance from the "Carlton" to almost anything else. (I would probably go with the Haka, but that's just me and I think its cool!) I mean, unless they patch in that when a Norn does the dance, his armor changes to a really loud sweater, khakis, and boat shoes while dancing...which would be very funny...I REALLY want to change my dance.

Nothing Earth shattering or game changing...and I won't stop playing because my primary toon's dance is kinda dumb...but this really would be awesome! And as time allowed, you could always add more dances via the Gem Store...maybe as a "Dance Card" where you learn a new dance.

They ARE going to put this kind of stuff, obviously. But you should wait a while, theyre constantly updating and developing and everything.

As above, not a high priority at this time... but more dances would be cool. I'm more likely to spend gems on that, than anything else. Extra emotes too, now that I think about it.

True...I would never suggest this is a priority...but this is a forum for future suggestions.

I'm not one of those 'jump up and down and stomp my feet and cry until someone does what I want' kinda people. Had an idea for the future, so I posted it.

LOTRO has dances that you can get during festivals.  Its a lot of fun to have different dances to do.

Was gonna post a thread about /dance but I see one already exists.

I'm all for the idea of new dances, but I don't necessarily like the idea of having to buy dances. Emotes should all be free, not paid for.

If they do add new dances, we should be allowed to pick the dance with the command /dance #
So if they add 2 more dances, we should be allowed to pick the dance, like:
/dance 1
/dance 2
/dance 3
... and so on.

each class should of got there own dance, like gw1...we all have to share armor/dance moves only really changing on male-female, it was a lack luster to see this, one great thing about gw1=different armor for each class and diffrent dances, also with the Rit/Sin you got back up dancer's extra dance(collectors edition), with Para/Derv you got Confetti/Mirror ball+second dance for both(collectors edition)
and changed for male and female character's, making 24 unique dances,

now if something like that was Buyable i'd be pro-choice, but last thing we need is more stuff making only our skills feel somewhat unique.

I was thinking either that or just by selecting it in your hero page.  Like you would have a drop box and you could choose which dance you would like to equip on yourself.  IMO sounds like a good idea.

Cool idea.  I would certainly buy new dances if I liked them.

But for now I would rather they put resources into getting guesting working (and bugs and bot-squashing)

Definitely a good idea for the gem store. Just think all that extra cash for my necro to do the thriller dance again could go to bug fixes. Sure, you can farm enough gold to get gems, but most people will just buy it with real money.

I'd buy dances and emotes!
The dances in-game at the moment are nothing compard to GW1. I seriously have no idea what they were thinking with these dances...
