Gonna take ages to farm 400g~ for Volcanus :<

The funniest thing is that both Foefire and Volcanus were discovered by the same guy... big props to Maisen for contribution... although makes me wonder how the hell did he farm so much money in so little time :<

I was gonna sell the one I had drop last night forgot saw price went to almost 1g and had to check to see if a new recipe was found lol

Do people honestly forget you can buy gems for real $$$ and sell for gold? How else do you think these people get the money? P2 be unique

Indeed, people spend THOUSANDS of dollars on games...just look at all the $$ people made in D3.  Sure you can't buy power in GW2 because it is all the same - but LOOKS="POWER" in GW2.  It's the same issue...Anet pawned it off as a way for people to buy gems with gold but the reality is it allows them to make massive amounts of money off of people buying gems for $$ to convert to gold.

Games with no monthly fee ALL have this issue to one degree or another - which is why I think F2P has a very rocky future ahead of it.  No one (that includes Anet/GW2) has done it correctly yet - it's going to take time to get it right.

I sure hope people are spending $$ to buy gems!

1. I'll still kick their ass in PvP and WvW.
2. The point of games is for game companies to MAKE MONEY, not cuddle with players and their 500 hour of work character.
3. More money = more expansions.

Listen, when I can enter WvW with level 10 weapons and still rack up kills, that legendary they paid $800 isn't going to save them. They'll just cry because they lost and are out $800. Best 'a luck to yous all!

I assume its 2molten cores, 1 elonian wine, 1 crystal, and 1 more ingredient i am not sure of.

I believe I tried that and it didn't work to make molten lodestone. I know it works with the glacial core and charged core recipes though.

After I saw Charged Lodestone prices go up I thought "There must be a recipe using molten ones."
I should have gone with it and bought some early to sell. Oh well.
I don't have much money to buy that stuff anyway so my profits wouldn't have been that amazing anyway.

It could be, i checked the prices of molten lodestone before i did an AC run, it was at 68s, now its up to 78s

But, molten cores only jumped 1s, to 14s~

Im sure people cry all the time in WvW when they die because there is an inspect button that shows what weapon killed them.  Im sure people totally know you are tagging them with a level 10 weapon when you kill them.  Cause people pay attention to those things in WvW.   Also when you kill people in WvW they drop their weapons as loot so they will totally lose out on that $800 if they used real cash.  o.O.

Time to go hit WvW and kill people for their dusks and dawns people.

What frost bow??  Is it Silverwing??? ...there was only one "Frost Bow" in GW1 and most people never even saw the Rare one nomatter how many times they killed the Kinslayer  (but I have one! ...and I got it straight from the chest)

lol no; you have that backwards... The point of game companies is to make money; the point of a game is to provide an intellectually and/or physically stimulating experience. The game companies just try to monetize games (which they have done pretty successfully; just like how holidays are essentially only about $$$). *ing capitalistic societies; screwing up priorities since forever.

On Topic:

Grats on the recipe find I guess? I'm more or less curious about that frost bow now that I hear about it though; ponies and flowers aren't really my thing...

All of these weapons like Mists (purple/pink weapons), Foefire (blue), and Volcanus are just the summoned weapons of other classes

Mist = Mesmer
Foefire = Guardian
Volcanus = Elementalist

so I was wondering if the Elementalist Frost Bow has a secret recipe, because I would certainly prefer that over the Aether I crafted

I really feel that if the weapon exists this will be it or maybe instead of staves, more Glacial Lodestones (like volcanus, since its much more of a legendary feel to it than the others as would Frost Bow since of the arrow change and sounds)

It's most probably 1 Scroll + 100 Coin + Gift of Ice + 250 Glacial Lonestones (not Lodestones, it's written with n instead), it's the same kind of weapon as volcanus and as we've seen with the mesmer/guardian weapons they also use the same amount of items + the same type.
