Our server has done a fantastic job of taking on other servers during the day.  We push the enemy constantly and we are doing a fantastic job of taking control of the map.  We do lack a few for our night crew and are looking for some wo would like to join us to help push us up the server ladder to compete against the big dogs.

If you are an individual or a guild looking to move to a server, Tarnished Coast is a fantastic option.  We are looking for players who play primarily outside of the NA Prime Time hours, however we would welcome more prime time players as well.

The Tarnished Coast server is know extremely well for it's community and how mature the server is.  The guilds that are there now do a great job at working together, but at night we are unable to field the numbers to keep pushing.  An additional few decent sized guilds who are looking for a competitive server and a friendly community would work out perfectly.

If you are looking to make the move to a more competitive server, please send me a message whether you're just a solo player or a guild that would like a better environment to play on.

TC is a great community and their world PvP'ers are the most resilient players I have seen in this game so far (they just never give up against all odds), the only thing that seems to be lacking is coverage in certain times of the day. Hopefully some WvW focused guilds transfer over soon so everyone can see how great TC is in the higher tiers.

Regardless, you have won the respect of the guys facing you, and we wish you luck in the future.

Thanks guys!  We are hoping to get more coverage.  There should be a few guilds out there that would be up for the challenge of moving over and having a bigger impact rather than just heading to a server that has queues 24 hours a day.

We have really enjoyed this weeks battles against Blackgate.  Hopefully next time we'll be able to field the same numbers you guys do at all times of the day.  We seem to be VERY competitive during the North American prime time hours... we need help at other times.

As a recent immigrant to TC from the EU (who sadly couldn't persuade most of his guild to come too) I can only say that the server has both a great community and that although we desperately need more people in the offpeak slots (EU morning in particular) the situation isn't in any way dire.  We still always have a sizeable presence in those windows, with a couple of Commanders keeping things organised (that just isn't enough against BG currently tho - but that is an issue for another thread.)  

Honestly, even a guild of 20-30 would make a huge difference in terms of taking us from 'not quite enough' to 'able to defend what our NA Prime team have taken.'  So if you have a small or medium sized EU guild looking for a mature and friendly server where you can make a real difference then Tarnished Coast should be given serious consideration.

This is true.  There are many people who have sent messages asking about the server, and all I and anyone else can tell you is that it's a terrific server and the maturity level is fairly high (every server does have their bad apples, this just less than normal).  The guilds are very helpful, and the community is the best I have seen since my days in UO.

Choosing a good server is important for any guild, and this is why I think that Tarnished Coast is a great option for people who are looking to move.

Just give it a bit of time, it took more than a month for us to start really getting help.   Posting and getting your members to speak up is not only the best way to get new players when you need them but make sure they match the TC character.  =)

I can easily recommend TC to anyone looking for a home, you'll find some good WvWvW and a good community.
Just try to stay away from the inns in Queensdale.

Tarnished Coast is a great community, and a great competitor in WvW. They have the skill and heart to dominate WvW. How often can you find such a perfect combination in one server? I can reccommend Tarnished Coast to EU players/guilds, Oceanic players/guilds, and everyone else, whether for WvW or just for a great community, with full confidence.

Tarnished Coast is still looking for more late night/early morning presence.  We are doing very well for ourselves during the day but a few guilds coming over would have a huge impact.  With no queue times during those times, you would be able to have an immediate impact with the server and help us compete in the higher WvW tiers.  Currently we are dominating in Tier 4 and will be back up in Tier 3 next week.

If you or your guild would like to move to a server that is well known to have by far the best community of any server and a never quit attitude, please send me (Madember) a message in game.

I feel I should warn everyone that is thinking of joining TC.

If you join them they have a strong NA team that is ready to smash everyone in the face with a hammer, and an already OK night-crew that keeps the ball rolling over night.

Obviously you don't want to join that, otherwise they might end up being a T2(Or perhaps in the future T1) server.

Those of you who enjoy having a terrible time, or enjoy long queue times during off-peak hours, or are looking to join a server that does nothing but trashtalk in /team chat.... you won't enjoy Tarnished Coast.  You will hate how well people generally try to work together, how much people are willing to take suggestions from more experienced WvW'ers, and you will certainly hate how competitive we are.

Do not come to Tarnished Coast if you are looking to enjoy playing on a server that you hate.

Don't do it.

But hey why not get all the overseas players on the same 6 servers.

I saw more FA starting monday than there were TC. Same with DB. That's the reason we stayed up all night gathering as many points as we can for a headstart over the weekend. We really do hope you guys get more coverage during NA offpeak times in coming weeks, but this is definitely not the way we expected FA to respond. You were facing us last week and this week as well and you should better know that we didn't have any changes in our numbers! If we are fighting same servers (like yours) its because we currently lack the numbers same as you do and are not able to push forward to upper tiers due to that reason. This is a recruitment thread much similar like you guys are doing everywhere, and flame wars and comments like these are totally unnecessary.

On to the topic, [Pro] baddies, Welcome aboard on TC! Looking forward to fight alongside you guys!

TC are the Protoss of WvW. They've got some tough-as-nails badasses in their ranks with almost unbreakable drive and morale. They fight with zeal, determination, and 'patriotic' fervor. Sadly, they lack numbers during the late hours of night.

A friend and I were speaking the other day about how being an RP server gives TC a natural advatage.  TC is one of the only servers we have fought which entire guilds were guarding towers and keeps far from the front.  We figured this had to be some RP aspect coming in.  Basically what I am trying to say is that the dedicated RP spirit means you can get people out of the zerg and doing useful things for Wv3 because they can roleplay those actions out, rather than wanting to cap every tower/sup/keep on the map and defend nothing.

I am ashamed to be in Aspenwood with you, you do not walk into another servers thread and start making comments like this.  It is poor form, it is bad etiquette and you should never have done it in the first place.

The server is still welcoming any new player who wants to join.
The server is extremely friendly and for players interested in WvWvW, TC is currently leading Tier 3.
TC's weak spot is currently the lack of forces during the day and this is something new members could easily fix.
Anyone should feel free to come visit and see what the server is about.

I can attest to this.  Our guild moved in just recently and we are loving it.  Yes, it is the unofficial RP server but that most definitely not the only thing that Tarnished Coast has to offer.  You basically get a pleasant player community combined with a competent WvW crew that fights extremely hard.  A few additional guilds that play outside of NA prime time would be a huge boost.

We are still looking for a few more people to come join Tarnished Coast.  As you can see from the response in this thread, the player community is tremendous. TC is known as a very hard working opponent in WvW and we are looking for others who play primarily during the non-peak hours for NA. If you're an overseas player from either Europe or Asia/Australia and are looking for a fantastic server to play on, then come over to Tarnished Coast.

Tarnished Coast has been holding on to the #7 spot and could easily become the next fully competitive server within the top 10 with a bit more overseas presence to compliment our strong NA crew.  If you have been curious to see just what TC is all about then right now is a good opportunity, since they seem to have opened up cap space on servers for the 'refer a friend' event.

Yep, as a Commander who basically only plays during our weakest window I'd like to echo again the fact that just a small number of additional players active during EU day / Asian Evening would make a massive difference in terms of letting us break into T2.  Even in T3 this week while we're winning comfortably overall there are periods every day when both YB and CD outnumber us and while I love the guys who fight like lions with me I'd absolutely love another small guild or two to bolster us during that window.  T3 IS amazing fun during this timeslot though because we are having real, hard fights with both other servers basically constantly.
