Potent Blood > Powerful Blood (Temporary Quick Money)

Had some leftover dust and philosopher stones and decided to buy potent blood and throw it into the mystic forge.
Made 3g in about the 6 minutes it took to buy potent blood, toss into mystic forge, and sell off the powerful blood.
50 potent blood
1 powerful blood
5 crystalline dust
5 philosopher stones (From Miyani, next to the Mystic forge)
Toss that into the mystic forge, if you get 5+, that's profit.
Do it quick before the price of Powerful blood drops.
(and before people say I bought a ton of potent blood, and I am just trying to get the price to spike, no... There's so much god damn potent blood on the TP for this to work.)

by farming potent blood at good rates this was further amplified and it even got profitable enough at just bying some 250's of potent and just selling em as powerful without even using buy orders.
powerful blood rocketed a bit yesterday to about 7,9s but i dont really think its as profitable atm as it was a week ago or two, even with potent relative price drops...
still, good investment!!

I'm going to give a pro tip* (which means, not so pro):
Flipping items that sell for double digits have a lot more risk than flipping items that sell for single digits (e.g, flipping an item that sells for 50c vs flipping an item that sells for 6)
Also, I noticed that while I did manage to make about 1 gold in the 1 and a half hours that i was flipping my single digit item, I can really see the potential once I'm up to 50 gold, and I'm dumping all off that on flipping.
Yes, I know none of this is new to all the pros here but it was just amazing how I was just making money from buying low and selling high..
UPDATE: came home today and saw that I now had 6 gold (started with 2 gold last night) from all my flipping! I was at work making real money while TP was making me in game money! This is the most money I've had since I started playing!

It's a relatively simple method. Check About 10 times a day and look for posts made by this user.

Proceed to ignore them as they generally only benefit his/her/it's wallet. Rather take the money you save by ignoring these posts and invest elswhere. Profit.

This was good when powerful blood was selling for 20s, 15s was barely cutting it.

Assuming you start with a single t6 mat, then feed the new ones in, you can generally count on about 30 t6 mats for every 250 t6's. The trick is do enough quantity so that it's no longer gambling, it will average out to the same refinement give or take a few. Buying up crystalline dust ahead of time at a decent price will also help your bottom line.
I made quite a bit with this strategy, but it is risky listing too many t6 mats at the same time...prices have been fluctuating a lot, and an additional 5 percent listing fee really hurts the profit margin if you're caught on a bubble.

Even when I got only 5 vials I still got 10s profit, and I usually got around 7-10. Of course prices changes all the time, so I'm not sure what it's like now.
I remember buying off all the vials of potent blood, driving the price up by 20c each, pretty epic. But made it less profitable for myself. So vials of powerful blood wasn't the only ones I did.
p.s. Vials of Powerful isn't the most profitable at the moment I did it (2 days ago)

True, I got undercut a lot. I got to the point where I was just selling it to the highest bidder and still made a huge profit.
Reading your posts though it sounds like it's hard to make a profit now. Guess that's what happens when you post it on public forums.
