"A friend and I who live on the west coast joined FS a few days ago. One doesn’t even notice a language difference in chat. Since we have no guilds here yet we became zerglings and the team and map chat was english. We had some good fights with the evil Deso people but the numbers do drop off until one is finally over run by them. Still it is a better matchup than on the NA servers. If FS gets a few more people it should be great times."

I'm an American playing on this server now, and I can tell you language is not a barrier you'll face on this server even in voice chat. Great server, awesome coordination between people. Would be number one if they had enough people at night to battle the hordes of french and germans roaming the map.

As a Commander and member of the active FS WvsWvsW community I'd like to second this post.

We have a strong presence and good alliances/tactics during the peak EU hours but lack the manpower during the nightshift.
There are alot of efforts being put into getting a nightshift together for the Far Shiverpeaks server and we'd love for you to join in. There are already some US players who've come to join our Server and we'd love to see more from the North and South America timezones join us in the ongoing fight. If you opt to move your whole guild to our Server that's great, otherwise send me a PM and I can arrange so that we find you a suitable WvsWvsW guild.

I made the Xfer to Shiverpeaks from NA's JQ. It has been right around 2 weeks now and I would like to let my experiance being here be known. Upon xfering I was greeted with a warm welcome by all. I got in contact with an officer from DL that put me in contact with an officer for the guild I am currently and hope to be serving in for a long time (Dynasty Warriors). This servers cohession is un-matched, It is led by some of the best commander's i've seen. Battling along side players like Eccentric, Kaladin, Maloki and many, many others has been epic.

There is practically no language barrier on this server, even in the mumble during prime time Commander's orders, situation reports everything is given out in english. I have yet to experiance any lag or if I have it was very minimal and didnt last but maybe a few seconds. I am playing in Florida, Take my word for it DO NOT let the term EU server put you off. There are many americans other than myself that play on this server and enjoy it.

If you are solo and thinking about xfering feel free to contact me (TwistedKaos in game) or on here threw pm and I will help get you set up into a wonderful alliance that will give you the best experiance there is that WvW has to offer. If you are part of a guild or alliance thats is contiplating an xfer also feel free to contact me via the same methods and I will put you in contact with the server leaders.

All in all you will not regret making a move to Far Shiverpeaks.

Such a shame that things have gone the way they have. FS had so much potential with the great Commanders & WvW Guilds, but it seems like we're now rocketing down the tier's like no tomorrow due to Guild's jumping overboard to 'greener grass' before we even had a chance to get back on our feet.

FS is still EU's prime time power house even with DL gone. Miller's and Baruch Bay got to to see first had how powerful we are. We will rise up and be even stronger than before.

Meh, whom are we kidding - without the DL it's pretty much destined to slide down the ranking in the coming weeks. You're last in your group, not sure how "powerful" that makes the remains of Far Shiverpeaks.

It's utterly disgraceful though, how people are advertising for others to switch from their continental servers over to Far Shiverpeaks - then change their own server. I don't know, sullies the good impressions I had from guilds like NUG and Green Fire.

I'm getting myself & my Guild setup on the Server website in hopes that we can maybe help out in pulling us back together & push our way up again. Or at least stabilize our current standing without going down further tiers.

You don't need to "invite" anyone, nor do you have the rights to.

If people want to transfer to a server, they can. Don't need any players permission....

Sadly Far Shiverpeaks' organised WvW-base has now disintegrated because of the night-capping victimisation and the server is in freefall, currently down to Tier 4. We still have a a lot of players but we're terribly uncompetitive in WvW, especially at night.

I now will be leaving for pastures new as well, not least because I need world completion in red-team zones and the odds of us being promoted any time soon and getting rolled red, or capping EB's red keep, are virtually zero. Does anyone know an English-speaking EU server that is currently rolled as red team please? I don't particularly want to join the French server that are red in our current match-up!
