Do you mean illusionary leap? If so, that is great news! The range of 600 was painfully low.
Phase retreat would be a gap increaser.

Phase retreat teleports you in the opposite direction of where you are facing.
So if you are looking away from your target, you actually teleport to them.

It takes a bit of skill to do it correctly while chasing someone (turning near 180 degrees fast enough and precise enough), but if done correctly, it is a Pseudo Blink on a short cooldown.


Also, am I the only one who will miss randomly falling through the world and exploring under the terrain?

You can bind a key to turn 180 degrees which makes this pretty easy to do.

I actually fell through in bloodtide coast once, but that was through path that i found accidentally, still swimming through map was super fun! Maybe except crossing under-under water.

LOL. This happened to me in WvsW. Was hilarious!!! Do you know how to recreate this? I think you do it close to water?

i get this a fair bit. i use bound 180 turn/phase retreat all day err day but it does have the very nasty drawback of fairly often (atleast once a day for me) pushing you through the floor, inside a wall, through a wall(would be nice if you could make this happen consistently lol) and into places that are impossible to get out of. its a shame that once out of bounds you lose LOS with the ground of the in bounds area so you cant even blink back out =[

I think this is called 'turn around'

The bind is calld "About Face". I bound it on my mouse and it works nice. I should use staff more often or getting rusty at using this combination

Btw this trick does not work anymore since the change, the skill now teleports you away from your target regardless of which direction you are facing.
